Luxury IHG Hotels & Resorts brand Regent is all set to open its first hotel in the Middle East in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in mid-2024. The new hotel is part of the development of 30 new IHG hotels scheduled to open within the Kingdom over the next 5 years.

Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming Regent Jeddah.

A New Luxury Waterfront Hotel

Regent Jeddah has been earmarked as one of the first “next-generation” Regent properties. The hotel will feature views of the Corniche, a resort area in the city of Jeddah. The 29-story hotel will have 182 rooms that face the Red Sea, including 5 penthouses.

The luxury hotel will also have a 1,500-square-meter spa designed by Raison de Être who also designed the spas at Six Senses properties. Additional amenities will include a health club as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. Guests can look forward to 3 dining and lounge options.

There are currently fewer than a dozen Regent Hotels around the world. The Regent Cannes recently underwent a complete renovation and reopened to guests earlier this year.

How To Book Regent Jeddah

Regent Jeddah is not open or accepting reservations just yet. When it does become available in mid-2024, it will participate in the IHG One Rewards program. You’ll be able to redeem IHG One Rewards points for stays at the property, which will be welcome as it’s likely to be pricey.

Luckily, it’s relatively easy to earn IHG One Rewards points. IHG offers 3 credit cards — 2 personal and 1 business — all issued by Chase. You can also transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points to IHG One Rewards at a 1:1 ratio.
