Regent Hotels & Resorts, the luxury IHG Hotels & Resorts brand, has opened its first hotel on the beautiful island of Bali. The new resort marks the first Regent Hotels & Resorts opening in Indonesia since IHG acquired the brand in 2018.

Here’s what we know about the newly opened Regent Bali Canggu.

A New Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Bali

The Regent brand has broadened its luxury portfolio to the picturesque shores of Canggu Beach in southwestern Bali with the opening of Regent Bali Canggu.

The beachfront property marks the inaugural Regent hotel in Indonesia. It features 150 suites and villas, most of which provide stunning sea or garden views and direct access to the lagoon.

“What a great opportunity it is for us to reintroduce Regent to Indonesia,” said Manish Puri, General Manager of Regent Bali Canggu. “With over 50-years of heritage in innovation, extraordinary views, landmark destinations and exceptional service, the Regent brand has returned to reimagine luxury here in Canggu.”

One appealing aspect of the resort is the spacious rooms, with the entry-level studio suites starting at an impressive 818 square feet. The luxurious 2-bedroom penthouse oceanfront room features a private pool, a fully equipped kitchen, a private terrace, and a 322-square-foot infinity pool, all overlooking the Indian Ocean with a remarkable 6,652 square feet of living space.

The resort will feature one of the world’s first Regent Spa experiences (set to open in late 2025), 5 dining venues, 9 swimming pools, and a Regent Club.

Scheduled to open in late 2025, the resort will also debut Regent Kids, an engaging indoor and outdoor playground kids’ club that offers a combination of enjoyment and education for younger guests.

How To Book Regent Bali Canggu

Rooms at Regent Bali Canggu begin at $775 per night, including taxes and fees. The resort participates in the IHG One Rewards program. You can redeem IHG One Rewards points for stays at the property, with rates starting at 100,300 points per night.
