Roame.Travel Adds a New Feature Making It Easier To Redeem Instant Hotel Rebate Credits

Roame Travel, a tool that launched to help users search for award flights, has recently expanded into the hotel award search space with a feature that lets users search across multiple hotel loyalty programs at once.

Now, it’s expanding in the hotel space again with a new feature, currently in beta, that allows paid users to automatically apply the hotel rebate credits they receive for being either a Friends of Roame or Inner Circle Member before booking — available when making a reservation through Roame’s platform.

Here’s what you should know about this new feature.

Roame’s New Feature for Paid Hotel Stays

Roame.Travel is a platform that helps travelers put their points and miles to use by doing the hard work of searching multiple airline and hotel loyalty programs for you.

The platform added the ability to perform hotel award searches last year, and now it’s adding a feature for paid stays. It’s available at roame.travel/stays.

It offers 1 free and 2 paid tiers: Friends of Roame (currently $109.99 annually) and Inner Circle (currently $299.99 annually). Friends of Roame provides members with up to $100 per quarter of instant hotel rebate credits applicable to hotels booked through the Roame.Travel platform. Inner Circle members get up to $10,000 in instant hotel rebate credits per year.

The portion of the credits you can redeem depends on the individual hotel, so this new feature shows you directly from the search results page how much credit you can receive from a given hotel. You may get as little as a couple of percentage points off the rate, or you could get as much as 83% or more, according to a statement from Roame.

For example, you may be considering a stay that costs $500 in total. You may only be able to use $50 in hotel rebate credits at that property, while another hotel costing $250 might offer the ability to use $100 in rebate credits. It all depends on your timing, membership level, and the specific property.

And, unlike The Edit by Chase or American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts, you can redeem credits at hotels of any rating, not just top-of-the-line luxury properties.

There are a few more things to note about this new feature:

• It is still in beta.
• It is only available to Roame Pro users (i.e., Friends of Roame or Inner Circle members).
• Nightly prices include all taxes and fees, so keep that in mind when searching on other sites.
• All unused hotel rebate credits expire at the end of the quarter or year, depending on your membership level. They have no monetary value.
