Samsung is getting into the U.S. credit card market with the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Card.

Issued by Barclays on the Visa network, the no-annual-fee card offers elevated cash-back rewards on Samsung purchases, Samsung Wallet transactions, and select streaming services. Applications for the Samsung Galaxy card open on July 22, 2026.

Let’s take a closer look at what the Samsung Galaxy card has to offer.

Inside the Samsung Galaxy Card

If you already own a Galaxy phone, frequently shop directly with Samsung, or regularly use Samsung Wallet, the new Samsung Galaxy card could be worth a closer look.

Here’s what you’ll earn with the card:

  • 5% cash-back on eligible purchases made directly through Samsung in the U.S., both online and in stores
  • 3% cash-back on purchases made using Samsung Wallet
  • 2% cash-back on eligible streaming services, including Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify
  • 1% cash-back on all other eligible purchases

There’s no annual fee, and new cardholders can earn a $200 welcome bonus after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days of account opening.

The most compelling feature is arguably the 3% cash-back on purchases made through Samsung Wallet. If you already tap your Galaxy phone to pay for most of your everyday purchases, that bonus category could add up over time.

Additionally, if you already subscribe to Samsung VIP Advantage — a paid membership that offers perks like discounts on Samsung products, extended return windows, and other exclusive benefits — you’ll also receive 20% off a membership purchase or renewal when paying with the Samsung Galaxy card.

Beyond those benefits, however, the card has a niche appeal. Unless you’re already deep into Samsung’s ecosystem, this probably isn’t a card that will replace your everyday cash-back or travel rewards card.

That said, if you’re interested in the Samsung Galaxy card, applications open on July 22, 2026, through Samsung’s U.S. website.

Final Thoughts

If you already buy a lot of Samsung products and use Samsung Wallet for most of your everyday purchases, the Samsung Galaxy card could earn a place in your wallet. Otherwise, you’ll likely get more value from one of the best credit cards for everyday purchases, many of which offer stronger rewards across a wider range of spending categories.
