The new and improved Centurion Lounge in Seattle has officially opened, and it’s a massive upgrade from the old lounge.
You can find the expanded location on the mezzanine level of the Central Terminal of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
Here are the details about this exciting Centurion Lounge.
The New Seattle Centurion Lounge Is Now Open
The new, 14,000-square-foot Seattle Centurion Lounge is nearly triple the size of the old one and features fantastic views of the airfield and Olympic mountains. It’s open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The new space takes advantage of the open-air atrium and includes additional seating areas, noise-buffering workspaces, and private phone rooms.
The Seattle Centurion Lounge will feature a locally-inspired menu by Seattle restaurant owner and James Beard Award semifinalist, Kristi Brown. Her signature “Seattle Soul” style combines traditional soul food with flavors prevalent in the Pacific Northwest food scene: think Trinidadian Spiced Pork Belly and Blackened Chicken Cobb Salad.
This location is also home to the Centurion Lounge network’s first full-service coffee bar, an ode to the city’s world-renowned coffee culture. Blue Roast by American Express features made-to-order specialty coffees, cold brews, and espresso drinks from Seattle-based Caffè Umbria, as well as health-focused items like kombucha and smoothie.
Seattle’s coffee culture is also evident in the 40-square-foot mural featuring the Seattle skyline that hangs in the main lounge — it was made using Caffè Umbria beans.
“The new Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport delivers exactly what Card Members want while traveling — more space to relax and recharge and fantastic food and drink,” said Pablo Rivero, Vice President & General Manager, Global Lounge Experiences at American Express. “Inspired by the vibrant Seattle dining and coffee scene, this lounge showcases the best of what Seattle has to offer, including a custom menu from the talented Chef Kristi Brown and our first full-service coffee bar with locally-roasted beans Seattle is known for.”
Bottom Line: The new and improved Seattle Centurion Lounge has officially opened its doors, located on the mezzanine level of the Central Terminal of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
Final Thoughts
The new Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is now open. The larger space and enhanced amenities bring this previously subpar lounge more in line with other Centurion Lounges in the U.S., and we’re looking forward to the renovations of other locations finishing soon!
