It’s been a busy week for the new Series by Marriott brand. Earlier this week, the brand debuted in the United States.

And now, Series by Marriott has expanded where the brand began: India. Marriott has opened 26 The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott hotels across India, adding nearly 2,000 rooms to Marriott Bonvoy.

Here’s what you need to know.

The Fern Hotels & Resorts Joins Series by Marriott

Series by Marriott has debuted in Asia Pacific with the launch of The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott, in India.

Let’s take a look at some of the properties.

The Fern Mumbai, Goregaon , Series by Marriott has 94 guest rooms. Amenities include 4 restaurants, an outdoor pool, meeting spaces, and a fitness center. Rates start at $85 or 20,000 Marriott Bonvoy points nightly.

Debu’s The Fern Resort & Spa Jim Corbett, Series by Marriott features 81 guest rooms and suites. The resort features a spa, pool, restaurant, bar, and fitness center. Rates start at $57 per night, though award nights don’t appear to be available.

The Fern Hotels & Resorts is a collection of eco-sensitive hotels located throughout India. At every hotel, guests will enjoy amenities such as a packed breakfast box (available on request), a curated selection of amenities for single women, tundown service, and nightly infused water.

“India’s vibrant domestic travel market and growing demand for dependable, affordable stays make it the ideal launchpad for this brand,” said Kiran Andicot, Marriott’s senior vice president for South Asia.

Andicot went on to say that 100 additional Series by Marriott hotels would launch in the next year.

Series by Marriott’s Big Expansion

If you aren’t familiar, Series by Marriott is one of Marriott Bonvoy’s newest brands. The brand’s ethos is to offer hotels that are regionally crafted and globally connected, plus experiences that “reflect the character of each destination.”

Just this week, Marriott opened 2 new Series by Marriott hotels in Miami Beach and Santa Monica by reflagging existing FOUND Hotels in those cities.

The hotel chain has plans to convert other FOUND Hotels properties in San Francisco, Chicago, and San Diego to Series by Marriott. Plus, the brand has plans to grow in the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Marriott has launched its new Series by Marriott brand across India, bringing the boutique brand to exciting cities like Mumbai, Jaipur, and Surat. New hotels are always exciting news, but the fact that Series by Marriott hotels are incredibly affordable with cash and Marriott Bonvoy points makes the news even sweeter.
