Hilton has announced the signing of the Signia by Hilton in Amman, Jordan, which will open for guests on January 1, 2025. This will be the first Signia property outside the U.S.

Here’s what you need to know about this new property before it opens.

First Signia Hotel Outside the U.S.

The 272-room Signia by Hilton Amman will have over 53,000 square feet of event space and include amenities like a spa, a fitness center, a bowling and entertainment center, and a pool.

Signia by Hilton Amman will have 7 dining options, including an all-day restaurant and a lobby cafe, serving local and international cuisines.

This is the first Signia by Hilton property outside of the U.S. The brand, which focuses on “approachable luxury,” has 3 hotels in the U.S. in Atlanta, Orlando, and San Jose. Hilton has 6 hotels open or under development in Jordan, including the Hilton Amman, King Hussein bin Talal Convention Centre and Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa.

Hilton seeks to grow its presence in the Middle East region to “meet the needs” of business and leisure travelers. The hotel chain has over 300 properties open or under development across 12 brands in the region.

“The debut of Signia by Hilton Amman is a testament to this, delivering elegant guest rooms, stylish and elevated meeting spaces, and exceptional culinary options, catering to both visitors and residents of the vibrant Jordanian capital,” said Carlos Khneisser, vice president of MEA development at Hilton.

Booking Signia by Hilton Amman With Points

Signia by Hilton Amman is accepting reservations for January 1, 2025. The hotel will participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program. That means you can earn and redeem Hilton Honors points during your stay.

Cash rates are pretty reasonable, as many hotels in the Middle East typically are, starting around $157 per night next winter and spring. If you want to use Hilton Honors points, award nights start at 47,000 points per night for a king room.

Hilton doesn’t utilize an award chart, which means rates can be higher or lower depending on several factors, such as season and demand. Luckily, earning Hilton Honors points is a breeze. Hilton offers several co-branded credit cards. Aside from the hearty welcome bonuses, you’ll also earn points on your Hilton stays and categories like restaurants and travel.

Hot Tip:

You can transfer points from American Express and Bilt Rewards to your Hilton account if you’re still running low on points. You can also earn points on your Lyft rides or with Hilton Honors Dining.

Final Thoughts

Amman is an interesting location for Signia’s first non-U.S. hotel; at second glance, though, it makes sense. Amman is a hub for business and leisure travelers interested in exploring attractions like Wadi Rum or heading further afield to Petra and the Dead Sea, making the city attractive for tourism. With affordable cash and points rates, the Signia by Hilton Amman is sure to be a sweet spot for Hilton Honors members visiting Jordan.
