Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

For almost 2 weeks, you can book Singapore Airlines flights with 25% fewer miles than normal. However, this sale only applies to bookings at the Saver level, and you shouldn’t wait to book if interested.

That’s because availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, so the flights you want might disappear if you delay.

You have until September 22, 2024, to make your bookings. Economy awards to all Singapore Airlines destinations are included. However, premium economy and business class are only included for select destinations.

Here’s everything you need to know about this Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer redemption sale.

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Redemption Sale — Details

If you want to redeem Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles to book a flight, you’re in luck: if you book a valid flight by September 22, 2024, you’ll receive a 25% discount.

Eligible travel dates are for early next year, and you can fly between January 15 and May 29, 2025. That’s thanks to what the airline calls its “KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale.”

This offer applies to all economy bookings but only applies to select destinations for premium economy and business class. If you thought you’d use this sale for a 25% discount on flying Singapore Airlines’ famous first class, that’s sadly not included in this deal. Moreover, each destination can have blackout dates, and these vary by where you’re headed.

Awards are priced as low as 6,375 miles per person, and this redemption sale only applies to Singapore Airlines flights — not partner flight awards. Additionally, this sale only applies to Saver awards, which are the airline’s cheapest awards. Advantage awards are more expensive, and these can still be available when Saver awards are sold out; however, Advantage awards aren’t included in the 25% redemption discount.

For those flying to or from the U.S., there aren’t any economy or business-class deals available in this promotion. However, there are premium economy offerings available.

Typically, you’ll need 80,500 miles per person for a Saver redemption in premium economy between New York City (JFK) and Singapore (SIN), so paying 60,375 miles each is a full 25% discount. Unlike the San Francisco (SFO) flights, that route also doesn’t have blackout dates in this promotion.

You must book directly with Singapore Airlines and must use miles for eligible flights on eligible dates to get the discount. The full terms are available here, including destinations, blackout dates, eligible flight numbers, and redemption prices.

Hot Tip:

Read all about Singapore Airlines’ plane types and routes to/from the U.S. to learn about the plane you’ll fly on — plus the best seats to pick.

Final Thoughts

Singapore Airlines also runs Spontaneous Escapes, a monthly discount on award bookings for last-minute travel. This promotion is offering discounts on award travel for those already planning 2025 holidays, offering a 25% redemption discount on Saver awards. Economy offers are abundant, while premium economy and business class are harder to find — though they’re still available on some routes.

If any of these offers catch your eye, you’ve got until September 22 to book, though seats might disappear before then. Booking sooner than later is a smart move here.
