Rochester (ROC) is set to be the latest airport to welcome service from Spirit Airlines.
The ultra-low-cost carrier has announced flights from the New York State city to Orlando (MCO) and Myrtle Beach (MYR) from June 2022.
“We can’t wait to welcome Rochester area residents onboard our bright, yellow planes and offer them More Go to exciting vacation destinations,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines.

Spirit’s New Flights From Rochester (ROC)
Spirit’s new services to Florida will provide those living in the local area with ultra-low-cost, nonstop service to 2 of the most popular vacation destinations in the U.S.
“Spirit Airlines offers a convenient and affordable way to travel to those 2 popular vacation destinations,” said Adam Bello, County Executive. “We welcome Spirit’s commitment and investment in our community and in the ROC Airport.”
The new 4-times-weekly route to Myrtle Beach (MYR) will be the only nonstop connection to the South Carolina beach destination for those living in the Rochester area. The flight will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
The nonstop connection to Orlando (MCO) will be daily, while Spirit’s soon-to-be merger buddy Frontier operates a 3 times weekly service on the route alongside a once-weekly service from ultra-low-cost giant Southwest.
