Spirit Airlines will be launching its 4th nonstop service from Charleston International Airport (CHS) this fall.
Starting September 7, 2023, Spirit will commence a newnonstop route to Las Vegas — marking the only service between the 2 cities.
The news comes by way of an inauguration celebration for Spirit ’s debut into Charleston. This week, the ultra-low-cost carrier has commenced nonstop routes to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Newark (EWR), and Philadelphia (PHL).
“We’re pleased to offer More Go for our Guests, and Charleston is one of those unique destinations that attract travelers year-round,” said John Kirby, vice president of network planning at Spirit Airlines.
Here are the details.

Earn 2x Points On Spirit Flights To/From Charleston
If the news of nonstop flights to Vegas wasn’t already exciting enough, Spirit flyers are eligible for a limited-time only Double Points promotion on all flights departing or arriving at Charleston.
All you have to do is sign up for free for the airline’s Free Spirit frequent flyer program. You must book your flights by May 5, 2023, and fly by July 31, 2023.
Although, Spirit’s Las Vegas service won’t have started by this point. So, the 2x points promotion is only valid on services between Charleston (CHS) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Newark (EWR), and Philadelphia (PHL).
That’s not all, though. To mark the launch in true “Spirit,” the airline is offering one-way fares from $99 between Charleston (CHS) and Las Vegas (LAS), from September 7 to October 18, 2023.
The future is bright yellow for the South Carolina port city thanks to the arrival of Spirit Airlines.
