Universal has been busy building and hyping up its latest theme park, Universal Epic Universe.

We now have more details about one more of its interactive lands — Super Nintendo World, which is scheduled to open in 2025.

Let’s take a look at the latest news.

Universal Epic Universe Orlando

Universal Epic Universe is going to reshape the theme park landscape when it opens next year. There will be 5 new immersive worlds for guests of all ages, and we are slowly learning more about each one.

Super Nintendo World

Video game fans will be able to transport themselves through the iconic green pipe into Super Nintendo World, which will feature Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Donkey Kong, and more.

Power-Up Bands (available for purchase) will allow guests to interact with attractions throughout the park, collect digital coins, and compete with guests to unlock a showdown with Bowser Jr.

This vibrant and interactive land will feature 2 distinct areas: Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.

Super Mario Land

Nintendo fans will instantly recognize parts of the iconic brand come to life with spinning coins, “?” Blocks, Piranha Plants, and more all around them. And, of course, Princess Peach’s Castle!

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge

Buckle up and get ready to race at Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.

This augmented reality ride will have you join Team Mario and battle Team Bowser to win the Golden Cup.

Guests will steer their kart through the course while collecting coins, tossing shells, and more while wearing projection mapping goggles.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge will have a minimum height requirement of 42″, and children under 48″ must be accompanied by a supervising companion.

Yoshi’s Adventure

Fans of (almost) all ages will love Yoshi’s Adventure.

Hop on Yoshi and weave your way through the Mushroom Kingdom to search for hidden colored eggs along the way.

Yoshi’s Adventure will have a minimum height requirement of 36″, and children under 48″ must be accompanied by a supervising companion.

Toadstool Cafe

Running around with Mario will work up an appetite, so plan to fuel up at Toadstool Cafe.

This quick-service dining location will feature Chef Toad cooking up some of his favorite recipes, including Mario and Luigi-themed burgers, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs, and more.

Donkey Kong Country

Guests who walk to the edge of Super Mario Land will find the entrance to Donkey Kong Country. This lush, tropical landscape will feature trees, waterfalls, and even The Golden Temple.

Mine-Cart Madness

Help Donkey Kong protect the Golden Banana on Mine-Cart Madness.

This thrilling family coaster will have guests board a mine cart, get blasted out of a barrel, and jump gaps along the track thanks to a brand-new, innovative ride system.

Mine-Cart Madness will have a minimum height requirement of 36″, and children under 48″ must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Hand-held infants will not be allowed.

Hot Tip:

If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay, check out Universal Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts in Orlando, which are scheduled to open in early 2025.

Final Thoughts

Nintendo fans, get ready because Super Nintendo World at Universal Epic Universe looks like it is going to be a lot of fun!

With some exciting rides and even Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach available for character encounters, this new land looks to be…epic!
