Chase Sapphire cardholders have been taking advantage of the up-to-$500 annual statement credit by booking stays with The Edit by Chase Travel. When you find the right property, the credit can offer a significantly discounted stay and generous hotel benefits.

For 2026, cardholders can qualify for an additional brand statement credit of up to $250 for certain properties that are also a part of the hotel collection — one of which is the very popular InterContinental Hotels Group brand.

Since you can double-dip the 2 credits on a single stay, the information here could prove economically valuable. Below, we’ll show you how these credits work, how to find eligible properties, and 10 IHG hotels where you can receive up to $500 in statement credits on a single stay.

In addition to statement credits, specific hotel brand properties qualify for another $250 credit, available once in 2026. If a hotel property is part of The Edit and is a qualifying brand, the prepaid hotel stay booked through Chase Travel can qualify for both credits.

Eligible brands include IHG Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels, Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Minor Hotels (including the NH Collection and Anantara brands), and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.

A 2-night prepaid stay is required to receive either credit, and you can earn both credits on a single stay.

Bottom Line:

Owners of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card can utilize both credits for The Edit and the brand-specific credits on the same stay.

The Edit’s On-Site Benefits

In addition to receiving credits for The Edit and certain hotel brands, your stay includes several on-site perks, including:

  • A $100 property credit that can be used for spa services, dining, or other on-site amenities, as designated by the property
  • Complimentary breakfast for 2 guests
  • Room upgrade at check-in, when available
  • Early check-in and late checkout, when available

Additionally, you earn 8x Ultimate Rewards points on the portion of the booking not covered by the statement credit.

Hot Tip:

IHG One Rewards members are eligible for loyalty program benefits at The Edit properties affiliated with the IHG brand. You can find this information noted in the specific hotel booking information on Chase Travel.

How To Find IHG Hotels in The Edit Collection

When you begin a hotel search on Chase Travel, check the box for only Points Boost hotels to limit your search to mostly properties in The Edit. All properties in The Edit are eligible for Points Boost, but not all Points Boost properties are in The Edit and eligible for the associated statement credits.

The Edit IHG Select Points Boost
Check the Points Boost-only box and look for The Edit’s logo on the hotel image. Image Credit: Chase

You can then filter your search results by hotel brand or chain. One of the filter options says “All InterContinental Hotels Group,” which limits your search to IHG properties.

The Edit IHG Booking
You can filter your results to include just IHG properties. Image Credit: Chase

Filters don’t always work perfectly and may leave out some properties. Typing popular IHG brands commonly found in The Edit, such as InterContinental or Kimpton, into the hotel name box is an alternative way to find these properties.

It’s also important to note that the properties in The Edit change periodically.

The Edit IHG Checklist
Double-check that the property you’re booking meets all the requirements. Image Credit: Chase

Before booking any stay, check to ensure all 4 of these factors apply:

  • The Edit’s logo is on the hotel’s image.
  • Points Boost applies.
  • The Edit’s on-site benefits are clearly noted.
  • IHG One Rewards are included.
Hot Tip:

Booking properties with The Edit by Chase Travel is not complicated, but it is easy to make an error and become ineligible for any statement credits. Check out our tips on common mistakes to avoid when booking The Edit.

Final Thoughts

Remember that The Edit’s up-to-$500 annual credit is valid for up to $250 per stay. Once you’ve used The Edit’s $250 credit and the $250 brand-specific credit on a single stay, you still have up to $250 in a statement credit with The Edit to use during the calendar year.

We randomly selected the room rates shown in this article, but they can be useful as a guideline. Hotel nightly rates vary depending on your stay dates. If everything lines up, getting up to $500 in statement credits on a single stay can make a luxury hotel far more accessible.
