Turkish Airlines is offering a 50% mileage rebate when booking award tickets, though you’ll need to book and fly this month. You also can’t travel alone if you want to get in on this deal, given its Valentine’s Day theme.

Here’s what you need to know about this Miles&Smiles award promotion.

Turkish Airlines Award Sale — Details

Travelers who book tickets using the Turkish Miles&Smiles program will get 50% of their miles refunded if they book February 4-16 and travel February 10-23, 2025. Both one-way and round-trip bookings are eligible.

However, this offer only applies if you book 2 people on the same reservation.

This offer is valid anywhere Turkish Airlines flies, whether you’re booking tickets in economy or business class.

There are some other terms to note for this promotion:

  • You must pay the full fare at the time of booking 2 passengers.
  • 50% of the miles will be refunded to you within 10 days of the eligible flight.
  • The person booking the award ticket must be one of the passengers.
  • Book tickets February 4-16, 2025.
  • Fly anywhere Turkish Airlines flies February 10-23, 2025.
  • Valid in economy and business class.
  • Partner award flights are not eligible.
  • Valid on one-way or round-trip itineraries.

How To Book

You can use Turkish Airlines’ website to book these tickets, although it is rather slow and only lets you search for a day at a time. However, you will see a weekly view at the top of your search results, helping you see a few days before and after your search date. The good news, though, is that availability is abundant.

It’s easy to earn Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles miles. Turkish is a transfer partner of Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards. These flexible currencies all transfer to Turkish Airlines at a 1:1 ratio, which means 1 point becomes 1 Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles mile. You also can transfer points from Marriott Bonvoy at a 3:1 ratio, with a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points transferred. However, transfers from Marriott may not show up on the same day, meaning they might not arrive before the seats you want get snagged by someone else.

In case you’re wondering, yes, this promotion works on flights departing and returning to the U.S. There are no restrictions on where (or which direction) you fly during this promotion, so long as the flights are operated by Turkish Airlines.

Final Thoughts

Grab your special someone — or even just a travel buddy — because this Turkish Airlines promotion requires booking an award ticket for 2 people. If you book and travel this month, you could get 50% of your miles refunded after the flight. You can travel anywhere and do so in economy or business class.
