Universal Orlando fans will have 2 new space-themed resorts to choose from next year: Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort.

These new hotels are being built in support of the highly-anticipated Universal Epic Universe, scheduled to open in 2025.

Developed in partnership with Loews Hotels, there will be a combined 1,500 guest rooms starting at just $147 per night. Let’s take a look at the details.

Universal Stella Nova Resort

Universal Stella Nova Resort is scheduled to open on January 21, 2025. It is spaced-themed and inspired by the “infinite vastness of the unknown universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward, and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.”

Guests will have access to complimentary transportation to the theme parks and Universal CitiWalk, Early Park Admission, and more.

Rooms

According to the website, it appears that all rooms will feature 2 queen beds and will accommodate up to 4 people.

Each room will have a flat-panel TV and a mini refrigerator.

Hot Tip:

There are currently no suites listed online, so the only upgrade would be to a pool view room.

Restaurants & Lounges

Guests will have 4 on-site options for dining at Universal Stella Nova Resort, all with an outerspace twist.

A trip to a resort is not complete without a pool, and that won’t be an issue at Stella Nova.

With a 10,000-square-foot pool, kids splash pad, hot tub, and fire pits, there will be something for guests of all ages. For indoor activities, there will be a video game arcade and fitness center.

Universal Terra Luna Resort

Universal Terra Luna Resort is the sister hotel of Stella Nova and is scheduled to open on February 25, 2025. Also space-themed, the hotel is inspired by “the thrill of exploring the unknown and pushing the limits of discovery.”

Guests will have access to complimentary transportation to the theme parks and Universal CitiWalk, Early Park Admission, and more.

Rooms

Rooms at Terra Luna will be styled very similarly, also only showing rooms with 2 queen beds currently available for booking.

These rooms are currently pricing out about $40 more per night than the sister property.

The highlight of the Universal Terra Luna Resort looks like it will be the zero-entry pool with a hot tub, lounge, and table-top seating.

With outdoor games and activities, this could be a great spot for an off day from the park. Plus, there will be an arcade and fitness center available.

Final Thoughts

Universal Orlando has been busy building new lands, new theme parks, and new hotels to support the amount of extra guests they are expecting. These 2 resorts come in at a relative bargain price for Universal hotels, so with 1,500 rooms to choose from, guests will be able to visit without breaking the bank.
