Virgin Atlantic has released images of a sleek new Clubhouse lounge that will open its doors at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) next year.

“We’re thrilled to bring our award-winning Clubhouse to the vibrant entertainment capital [of] Los Angeles, where we know business and leisure travelers alike will enjoy our experience before their flight across the pond,” said Corneel Koster, chief customer and operating officer at Virgin.

Here’s what we know so far.

Virgin Atlantic’s Los Angeles Clubhouse

The lounge, slated to open early in 2025, will be the sixth in the airline’s global network of lounges and the fourth Clubhouse location in the U.S., joining existing lounges in New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

The swish new space will be located close to Virgin’s departure gates in the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX.

As you might expect from a Virgin Clubhouse, a large bar will serve as the centerpiece in the main area of the lounge — perfect for socializing while sipping on a preflight tipple, such as the airline’s signature “Virgin Redhead.”

Virgin likes to differentiate itself from the rest of the pack. This new Clubhouse is sure to be a fine example of that, boasting stand-out features such as at-table dining (a rare find in business class lounges these days) and an exclusive VIP booth it’s calling “The Royal Box.”

Otherwise, this new lounge will have all the features expected in a modern airline lounge, including a variety of comfortable seating areas, showers, and wireless charging capability.

“Our latest Clubhouse will have something special for every customer, from signature dishes to British designer finishes, plus some fun surprises you’d only expect from Virgin Atlantic. And we know our amazing teams will bring the experience to life brilliantly,” said Koster.

The renderings don’t show any windows, so we’ll have to wait and see if the lounge comes with those all-important apron views that Virgin does so well from the outside viewing deck at its London Heathrow Clubhouse.

The following passengers will be eligible to access the new lounge:

  • Upper Class (business class) passengers + 1 guest traveling with Virgin or Delta
  • Virgin Flying Club Gold Card members + 1 guest flying internationally with Virgin or Delta
  • Delta One passengers flying internationally with Delta
  • SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying Virgin or Delta + 1 guest traveling internationally with a SkyTeam carrier
Hot Tip:

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class is a great way to cross the Atlantic, and it can be less expensive than you may think, especially when you book with points.

Final Thoughts

Virgin Atlantic is bringing a Clubhouse to LAX in 2025. There’s still much to learn about this new lounge, and we’re eager to see it for ourselves when it opens next year!
