There’s a new way to spend your Virgin Points.

Virgin Red members can now redeem points on stays at 6 additional hotels in the U.S. and U.K.

“We’re thrilled to expand our offering by giving members the chance to turn their Virgin Points into unforgettable stays at Virgin Hotel,” said Andrea Burchett, chief loyalty officer and managing director at Virgin Red.

Here’s more on which properties are now available to book and for how many points.

How To Book Virgin Hotel Stays Using Virgin Points

As of today, 6 of the Virgin Hotel collection properties are now available to book from as little as 25,000 Virgin Points per night.

Properties of the luxury lifestyle brand include those in Chicago, Dallas, London, Nashville, New Orleans, and New York. Notable exceptions are the Virgin Hotels in Edinburgh and Las Vegas.

Hot Tip:

You can bolster your Virgin Points balance thanks to the new Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard® or transferring rewards from programs like Capital One miles.

To book a stay using points, guests are required to be members of The Know — Virgin Hotels’ loyalty program.

You can sign up for a free The Know account in less than a minute here.

Once you’re signed up, you’ll be prompted to link your new The Know account with your Virgin Red account account, which only takes a few seconds.

Then, you’re ready to start redeeming or earning points on Virgin Hotel stays.

It’s worth noting that redemption stays must be booked more than a week in advance, so last-minute bookings using points aren’t possible.

How Many Virgin Points Are Needed To Book a Stay at a Virgin Hotel?

According to Virgin Red, you can find redemption rates for 25,000 points per night. That’s definitely on the cheaper end of hotel redemption rates in general.

We did some research and found these options for London and Nashville — 2 popular tourist destinations.

The cheapest rate we came across for Nashville was 35,000 points in March next year.

As for London, the lowest rate we found was 72,500 points per night — also in March next year.

Hopefully, we’ll get to check out a Virgin Hotel for ourselves soon, so we can give you the lowdown!
