There are a few requirements to unlock the 75k bonus on the Virgin Red card. The offer is only available for applications from December 2 at 12 a.m. ET to December 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET — just 48 hours.

Once you’ve been approved, you’ll have to spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 90 days to unlock the limited-time welcome offer of 75,000 points.

What Can You Do With 75k Virgin Points?

Virgin Points can be redeemed for hotel stays, flights, cruises, and more.

In fact, with Virgin Atlantic Upper Class (business class) redemptions starting at just 29,000 points between the U.S. and the U.K., this welcome offer is enough for a round-trip over the Atlantic in a lie-flat seat.

And with reward stays at Virgin Hotels in the U.K. and U.S. starting from 25k per night, this bonus is enough for a free 3-night stay. Prime locations of Virgin Hotels include Edinburgh, London, New York, and Las Vegas.

As for cruises, 75k points isn’t quite enough to book a trip onboard a Virgin Voyages ship — especially since these redemptions became more expensive earlier this year.

However, if you need more points in your Virgin Red account, you can earn them from everyday spending on the Virgin Red card, transferring points into your account from Amex Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou Rewards, and Wells Fargo Rewards, or purchasing Virgin points during a promotion.
