Increased welcome bonus offers always get our attention here at Upgraded Points.

This time, the Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard® is stealing the limelight with a limited-time offer of 75k Virgin Red Points. That’s 15k more than the usual 60k welcome bonus offer.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Earn 75k Virgin Points With the Virgin Red Card

Virgin Red‘s new limited-time offer is in celebration of Virgin Voyages‘ fourth cruise ship, Brilliant Lady, which arrives in New York this week.

As New York will be included in Virgin Voyages cruise itineraries for the first time, you can now use points to fly from New York with Virgin Atlantic, stay in the city at the Virgin Hotel, and take a Virgin Voyages cruise.

There are a few requirements to unlock the 75k bonus on the Virgin Red card. The offer is only available for applications from September 3 to September 5, 2025 via this exclusive link.

Once you’ve been approved, you’ll have to spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 90 days to unlock the limited-time welcome offer of 75,000 points.

We value Virgin Points at 1.4 cents apiece, making this bonus worth $1,050.

Hot Tip:

The Virgin Red card comes with a host of perks and benefits, such as bonus points earning when using the card to book flights with Virgin Atlantic, stays with Virgin Hotels, and trips on a Virgin Voyages cruise.

What Can You Do With 75k Virgin Points?

Virgin Points can be redeemed for hotel stays, flights, cruises, and more.

In fact, with Virgin Atlantic Upper Class (business class) redemptions starting at just 29,000 points between the U.S. and the U.K., this welcome bonus is enough for a round-trip over the Atlantic in a lie-flat seat.

And with reward stays at Virgin Hotels in the U.K. and U.S. starting from 25k per night, this bonus is enough for a free 3-night stay. Prime locations of Virgin Hotels include Edinburgh, London, New York, and Vegas.

As for cruises, 75k points isn’t quite enough to book a trip onboard a Virgin Voyages ship — especially since these redemptions became more expensive earlier this year. However, if you need more points in your Virgin Red account, you can earn them from everyday spending on the Virgin Red card or transferring points into your account from Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, Citi ThankYou Rewards, and Wells Fargo Rewards.

Final Thoughts

The Virgin Red card offers several valuable perks and benefits if you frequently book flights, hotels, or cruises within the Virgin brand. If you’ve been considering opening applying for this card, now could be the opportune moment, given the limited-time 75k welcome bonus offer.
