I had never heard of WHOOP until a couple of weeks ago, when a new limited-time offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card was announced.

Now, cardholders can get a statement credit of up to $359 off a WHOOP wearable health tracker and membership through May 12, 2026.

Let’s jump into the details of what WHOOP is, how Chase Sapphire cardholders can get a discount, and whether or not it’s worth it.

What Is WHOOP?

WHOOP is a wearable health tracker that monitors sleep, stress, strain, recovery, and over 140 behaviors. These metrics help you better understand your overall health, and there’s also access to weekly plans and customized coaching from WHOOP. You’ll even be able to see your WHOOP age, which shows if you’re aging faster or slower than your biological age.

How To Get WHOOP for (Almost) Free

The first thing you need to do is activate your WHOOP offer in the Chase Offers section of your online account. Then, head to WHOOP’s Chase Sapphire landing page or WHOOP.com to make your purchase.

This is a one-time offer for a $100 or $359 statement credit (depending on your card) for the purchase of a WHOOP annual membership, which includes a wearable device, by May 12, 2026 (offer activation required). This offer is valid only for U.S. purchases made directly through whoop.com. A statement credit will be issued within 14 business days.

Bottom Line:

There’s a new Chase Offer available for WHOOP. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can save $359 (the cost of an annual Life membership) while Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders can get a $100 discount on any WHOOP membership through May 12, 2026.

WHOOP Benefits for Chase Sapphire Reserve Cardholders

A WHOOP Life membership annual plan, which includes a wearable device, usually costs $359. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can get a statement credit of $359 when spending $359 or more on the Life membership plan through May 12, 2026. While this deal makes the band and an annual membership nearly free, you’ll still need to pay tax on your purchase. For me, that cost was $25.13.

The WHOOP Life membership includes the Obsidian with a Titanium SuperKnit Luxe band, a wireless PowerPack, and the WHOOP MG device.

After activating your Chase Offer, head to whoop.com to make your purchase using your Chase Sapphire Reserve card. No promo code is required. As long as you add the WHOOP Chase Offer to your account before purchasing and spend at least $359, you’ll receive a $359 statement credit, equal to the cost of a WHOOP Life annual membership.

Hot Tip:

Your WHOOP membership will auto-renew after 1 year, so be sure to set a calendar reminder to cancel if you decide not to continue.

WHOOP Benefits for Chase Sapphire Preferred Cardholders

If you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred card, you can get a $100 statement credit when you purchase any WHOOP membership. After activating the offer, choose any membership (One, Peak, or Life), use your Chase Sapphire Preferred card to pay, and you’ll receive a $100 statement credit.

Is This WHOOP Discount Worth It?

If you want a WHOOP wearable device and membership, then this deal can offer significant savings. You’ll get $100 off any membership with a Chase Sapphire Preferred card or $359 on a Life annual membership with a Chase Sapphire Reserve card.

If you’ve never considered a WHOOP membership but had your eye on another health tracker (like the Oura Ring), then this could be a great deal. Don’t forget, if you also have a Platinum Card® from American Express, you can get a statement credit of up to $200 for an Oura Ring, so you might want to compare the 2 devices to see which one fits your life better.

Final Thoughts

There are 2 new Chase Offers out for WHOOP, valid through May 12, 2026 (activation required). If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you can get a $359 statement credit for an annual Life membership to WHOOP (when spending $359 or more). This credit covers the full cost (minus taxes) for a WHOOP wearable band and 1 year of membership. Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders can get a $100 statement credit for any WHOOP membership.
