Anyone holding a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard® has a new perk to take advantage of for a limited time.

From now through October 18, 2026, cardholders can receive up to $180 total in statement credits for car rentals made through Turo, a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace.

Here’s what you need to know about this exciting new perk.

Up to $180 in Statement Credits for Turo

The AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite card is offering up to $30 in statement credits for each Turo trip completed between October 19, 2025, and October 18, 2026, up to $180 total.

To be eligible, link your AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite card with your Turo account at this page and pay for your Turo rental with your card.

This perk is similar to the one introduced on the Citi® / AAdvantage® Globe™ Mastercard®, a mid-tier co-branded product with a solid slate of perks and benefits. Understandably, though, the total amount of statement credits is less, which makes sense given the difference in annual fee between the 2 cards.

With the AAdvantage Globe card, cardholders can receive up to $240 in Turo credits annually, available as up to $30 per eligible Turo trip for a maximum of $240 in credits per calendar year — with a maximum of $30 credit per billing period.

On the AAdvantage Globe card, you can get the $30 statement credit 8 times throughout the year, while on the AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite card, you can get this statement credit 6 times during the promotional period, since the credit has a maximum of $30 back per eligible Turo rental.

Final Thoughts

Citi is rolling out its new and unique Turo benefit to another American Airlines co-branded credit card: the AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite card.

While, for now, it seems the perk may be a temporary feature, it’s entirely possible it becomes a permanent fixture on the card. Regardless, we’re happy to see this perk spreading to another card, and hope to see it come to even more in the future!
