Marriott Bonvoy has just debuted its AC Hotel by Marriott brand in the coastal city of Split, Croatia.

Here’s what you need to know about the new hotel.

All Rooms Have Panoramic City Views

The AC Hotel by Marriott Split marks AC Hotels’ debut in the Croatia market. The 214-room hotel is located in the Westgate Tower, the tallest building in Croatia.

The hotel has 2 dining options, including a bar that serves the brand’s signature AC gin and tonic.

Amenities include an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, a meeting space for up to 240 people, and a gym with views of the Adriatic Sea.

“We are excited to bring AC Hotels’ design-driven guest experience to the Dalmatian Coast, expanding Marriott Bonvoy’s footprint in the region,” said Matthew Boettcher, Vice President and Global Brand Leader of Distinctive Select Brands.

Boettcher went on to say that the hotel will serve as a “seamless base” for business and leisure travelers visiting Split. The city is Croatia’s second-largest and is known for its gorgeous streets, nearby beaches, and eclectic food. It’s also a gateway city for many of Croatia’s islands that have become incredibly popular with tourists in recent years.

Bottom Line:

AC Hotels falls under Marriott’s Select portfolio, which includes household names such as Courtyard, Fairfield, and Moxy. Today, you’ll find more than 225 AC Hotels in 32 countries and territories.

Booking The AC Hotel by Marriott Split

The recently opened AC Hotel by Marriott Split is participating in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, so you’ll be able to earn and redeem points at the property.

Award nights are pretty reasonable at this hotel, starting at just 31,000 points per night for dates this fall and winter.

If you need to increase your account balance quickly, you’re in luck, as it’s quite easy to earn Marriott Bonvoy pointsMarriott offers several co-branded credit cards, all offering substantial welcome bonuses. You can then redeem Marriott Bonvoy points at hotels worldwide, including at the AC Hotel by Marriott Split.

Additionally, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned from several Chase credit cards and American Express Membership Rewards points earned from Amex credit cards at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

Split is one of Croatia’s most popular cities for tourism, and a low-cost points option is excellent news for travelers. If you’re in Croatia and have Marriott Bonvoy points to spend, the AC Hotel by Marriott Split seems to be a fantastic hotel at which to redeem!
