After more than 6 months, the Air France lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will reopen to select Air France and SkyTeam flyers.

Designed to celebrate the glamour of France, the refurbished lounge aims to offer more services and new spaces.

Here’s what you can look forward to when the lounge reopens tomorrow, June 16, 2023.

Air France’s San Francisco Lounge Opening June 16

The Air France lounge at SFO is accessible to those flying in the La Première and Business class cabins (when flying with a Standard or Flex fare), Flying Blue Platinum or Gold status customers, SkyTeam Elite Plus customers, and those flying SkyTeam partner airlines with SkyTeam Elite Plus status.

The lounge will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will feature buffet-style dining and a large bar. Guests can look forward to classic French dishes such as beef bourguignon and croque-monsieur, as well as vegetarian dishes. There will be ample seating in the form of armchairs, benches, high tables, and alcoves for added privacy.

Booking Air France’s La Prèmiere cabin may be difficult, but those customers will have a separate, private space within the lounge designed to reflect the cabin’s opulent onboard experience. These guests can expect their own catering and direct bar access.

Flying Blue Ultimate customers also have their own space located at the front of the lounge. This space will feature large armchairs for maximum comfort.

Additional amenities throughout the lounge include free Wi-Fi, outlets for charging devices, and dedicated shower spaces.

Reopening Just in Time for Summer

The opening of this lounge couldn’t come at a better time. That’s because Air France will fly 12 weekly nonstop flights from San Francisco (SFO) to Paris (CDG) this summer.

And it’s not too late to book one of those flights over to France this summer.
