Alaska Airlines has offered its flyers a fantastic promotion that lets them ski for free — or at a discount — for several years.

This year, the promo has returned with a new name, Atmos Rewards Alpine Getaways, and fewer eligible ski resorts, but its scope has been widened to offer more options.

Here’s what you should know.

Alaska’s Atmos Rewards Alpine Getaways — The Details

This year, the Atmos Rewards Alpine Getaways promotion includes just 6 ski resorts in the U.S. and Canada, but you can still ski for free and score additional perks. Note that even Alaska Airlines tickets booked with Atmos Rewards points are eligible for the promotion.

Here’s where you can go.

Sun Peaks Resort (British Columbia, Canada)

Fly into Kelowna (YLW) through March 31, 2026, and show your Alaska boarding pass that’s dated between November 27, 2025, and March 31, 2026, at the resort’s guest services desk. You’ll get a free lift ticket for the day you arrive or the day after, plus a 20% discount on the other days of your stay. Note blackout dates of February 13 to 16, 2026.

Alaska flyers can also save money on hotel stays, including a 20% discount at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and complimentary gear check-in.

Alyeska Resort (Alaska)

Fly into Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) through April 24, 2026, and show your Alaska Airlines boarding pass and ID with matching name at any ticket office at the resort to score free skiing on the day you arrive. There are blackout dates of January 19, February 16, and March 9 to 13, 2026.

Alaska flyers can also save on hotel stays when they use promo code AKAIR to save up to 20% on the daily rate at Alyeska Resort when they fly Alaska within 48 hours of their stay with presentation of a valid booking confirmation or boarding pass upon check-in.

Arctic Valley Ski Area (Alaska)

Fly to Anchorage through April 12, 2026, and show a boarding pass dated from now through April 12 and matching ID to get a free same-day lift ticket and free demo skis for the price of regular rentals from the resort’s rental shop.

Bogus Basin (Idaho)

Fly into Boise, Idaho (BOI), between now and the close of the season (mid-April), present your Alaska boarding pass, and get 1 free lift ticket per valid boarding pass shown in addition to a performance rental ski package for the price of a basic package at the resort’s rental shop.

Eaglecrest Ski Area (Alaska)

Fly to Juneau, Alaska (JNU), between now and April 12, 2026, and show your boarding pass dated through April 12 to receive free same-day skiing and/or snowboarding.

Schweitzer Mountain Resort (Washington State)

Fly to Spokane (GEG), show your Alaska Airlines boarding pass, and ski for free at Schweitzer Mountain on the day you arrive.

Final Thoughts

Skiing in North America is infamous for being incredibly expensive. But if you fly with Alaska Airlines to any of the destinations mentioned above, you can score free and/or discounted skiing just by virtue of flying with a specific carrier and presenting your boarding pass at the eligible resorts.
