Alaska Airlines will begin offering high-speed Starlink satellite Wi-Fi on its flights starting in 2026, with free access for Atmos Rewards members.

The rollout will start this winter and expand across Alaska’s regional jets, narrowbodies, and widebodies by 2027.

Here’s what you need to know about Alaska’s plan to add Starlink Wi-Fi to its entire fleet.

Alaska Airlines is off to the races today: After debuting its newly redesigned Atmos Rewards loyalty program and launching new Alaska co-branded credit cards, the carrier has now announced it will begin offering Starlink satellite Wi-Fi on flights starting in 2026. The goal is to provide fast, free Wi-Fi across its entire fleet by 2027.

The service promises faster speeds and lower latency than traditional airline Wi-Fi, making it easier to stream, message, game, or work across multiple devices — even on long-haul flights or flying over remote regions.

The airline will also become the first U.S. carrier to operate Starlink-equipped long-haul flights out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The move follows Hawaiian Airlines’ adoption of Starlink, which has already brought faster inflight internet to select routes.

“With Starlink already live on Hawaiian Airlines and installations starting this winter across Alaska’s fleet, we’re proud that we’ll offer the fastest, most reliable inflight internet in the skies – with gate-to-gate connectivity on nearly every aircraft across both airlines,” said Ben Minicucci, CEO and president of Alaska Air Group.

Alaska’s most loyal passengers will receive Starlink access for free through the airline’s Atmos Rewards program, while T-Mobile customers who are also Atmos members will benefit from a streamlined, ad-free sign-on experience. Additional T-Mobile perks are expected later this year.

It’s not yet clear which Alaska Airlines routes will be the first to get Starlink Wi-Fi, but the rollout is underway. Hawaiian Airlines aircraft already have Starlink, and now Alaska’s broader fleet will join. That means passengers across the combined airline network can expect fast, reliable Wi-Fi on nearly every plane in the coming years.

Bottom Line:

Alaska Airlines is bringing Starlink Wi-Fi to its fleet starting in 2026 and plans to have it installed across the entire fleet by 2027. This will give passengers across the combined Alaska-Hawaiian network fast, free, reliable internet on nearly every flight.

Final Thoughts

Starlink Wi-Fi is coming to Alaska Airlines in 2026, with the full fleet online by 2027. If you’re planning a trip with the Seattle-based carrier in 2026 and want reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi in the air, Alaska Airlines’ upcoming Starlink rollout is worth keeping on your radar.
