Passengers flying with Alaska Airlines this summer should check their email or use the Alaska app before their journey. That’s because, according to the promotional terms, Alaska will notify 1 guest (and 1 travel companion if on the same reservation as the winner) via the Alaska Airlines mobile app or email that they have been randomly selected to be upgraded from their Main Cabin seat to Premium Class.

Alaska’s Premium Class seats are located right behind first class and are usually reserved for the airline’s elite status members or offered for purchase. Premium Class provides passengers with 4 inches of additional legroom, luxurious leather seats, complimentary beer, wine, or cocktails for guests aged 21 and above on most flights over 350 miles, and priority boarding.
