The partnership between Alaska Airlines and CLEAR means all Mileage Plan members can sign up for CLEAR Plus at a discounted rate, saving $10 on their annual membership.

Plus, members with any level of Alaska Airlines elite status can claim up to 1,500 bonus miles when they start or renew a CLEAR Plus membership.

Cheaper CLEAR Membership for Alaska Airlines Frequent Flyers

All Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members will receive a $10 discount when registering for a CLEAR Plus membership for the first time through CLEAR’s website.

For those who are unfamiliar, CLEAR Plus gives you access to express security lanes at more than 100 airports across the U.S. Thanks to CLEAR’s “secure digital identity,” you can forget all about waiting in line to show your I.D. to TSA staff. Instead, you’ll use biometrics like finger prints or facial recognition to establish your identity, and these security lanes can be much faster than the general line for other travelers.

The $10 discount is also available when Alaska MVP, MVP Gold, MVP Gold 75k, and MVP Gold 100k members renew existing memberships.

CLEAR increased its membership fee to $209 earlier today, so Alaska Mileage Plan members can use the $10 discount to knock it back down to $199.

Mileage Plan members who take advantage of this offer will also be rewarded with bonus miles. There’s no stated end date to this offer.

MVP, MVP Gold, MVP Gold 75k, and MVP Gold 100k members will receive a 1,500-mile bonus if they’re enrolling in CLEAR Plus for the first time and 1,250 bonus miles if they’re renewing an existing membership.
