A new partnership between Alaska Airlines and CLEAR means that all Mileage Plan members are now eligible for a $10 discount on their CLEAR Plus memberships as well as up to 1,500 bonus miles!

The bonus miles are part of a limited-time offer that runs from June 21 through July 16, 2023.

“We understand from our guests how important it is for them to have the best possible experience when traveling with us, and part of that is saving time when they’re at the airport,” said Shane Jones, Vice President of Real Estate and Business Development at Alaska Airlines.

Cheaper CLEAR Membership for Alaska Airlines Frequent Flyers

All Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members will receive a $10 discount when registering for a CLEAR Plus membership for the first time through CLEAR’s website.

For those who are unfamiliar, CLEAR Plus gives you access to express security lanes at more than 100 airports across the U.S.

The $10 discount is also available when Alaska MVP, MVP Gold, MVP Gold 75k, and MVP Gold 100k members renew existing memberships.

“With a discounted CLEAR Plus membership available to all of our Mileage Plan members, we believe more of our guests will appreciate this valuable travel benefit,” said Jones.

Thanks to CLEAR’s “secure digital identity,” you can forget all about waiting in line to show your I.D. to TSA staff.

Remember, you can get a CLEAR Plus membership for free with certain credit cards, including The Platinum Card^® from American Express which gives you a $189 statement credit to cover the cost of a CLEAR Plus membership each year, among many other benefits.

Mileage Plan members who take advantage of this offer will also be rewarded with bonus miles.

MVP, MVP Gold, MVP Gold 75k, and MVP Gold 100k members will receive a 1,500-mile bonus if they’re enrolling in CLEAR Plus for the first time and 1,250 bonus miles if they’re renewing an existing membership.

Through July 16, 2023, all Mileage Plan members will earn 1,000 bonus miles when signing up for a membership for the first time with this offer.

Final Thoughts

This new partnership between CLEAR and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plus program means that all frequent Alaska flyers will be able to pass through the airport more quickly and with less hassle for less. On top of it, bonus miles are being handed out, too!
