Allegiant is a low-cost airline and tacks on extra fees for seat selection, baggage, and more.

Once you’ve settled on travel dates, you’ll want to book your ticket with a credit card that rewards airfare or travel purchases. Some of our favorites include The Platinum Card® from American ExpressChase Sapphire Reserve®, or Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit CardInformation collected independently. Not reviewed by Capital One., which all offer welcome bonuses (after meeting minimum spending requirements) and benefits like complimentary lounge access.

Bottom Line:

Allegiant’s loyalty program is called Allways Rewards. You’ll earn 1 point per $1 spent on any purchase made through Allegiant and 2 points per $1 if your total transaction amount is $500+.

Final Thoughts

Allegiant is launching new nonstop routes this summer across the U.S., which is excellent news for travelers in cities underserved by major airlines.

The information regarding the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
