The American Airlines AAdvantage program was introduced in 1987, followed quickly by the first Citi/AAdvantage credit card. Since then, additional cards have been introduced and consumers have gone on to earn over 2 trillion miles through credit card spending.
The 2 companies are celebrating their 3.5-decade history by offering a variety of events, deals, and contests to Citi/AAdvantage cardholders beginning September 19, 2022.

Beginning September 26, 2022, Citi AAdvantage cardholders can enter the Share Your Dream Trip Sweepstakes on social media. Each week, 4 participants will each win 70,000 American Airlines miles. The grand prize is a trip worth up to $35,000 plus 350,000 American Airlines miles.
To be eligible for the sweepstakes, your Citi/AAdvantage card must be open prior to September 26, 2022.
