American Airlines Cruises Bonus Offer: Earn up to 25K Miles

There are many websites for booking cruises, and we have found that they usually have identical or incredibly similar prices. The differences come in the bonuses and perks. And if you’re loyal to a particular brand, bonuses for that brand’s currency will catch your attention.

If you’re a fan of American Airlines, you’ll be excited to learn about American Airlines Cruises, a website that allows you to earn American Airlines AAdvantage miles and Loyalty Points when booking cruises.

If you make a new booking for select Norwegian cruises by April 30, 2025, for sailings in 2025, you can earn up to 25,000 bonus miles.

The bonus miles you earn will vary based on the eligible cruise you choose and the type of cabin you book:

  • 1,000 bonus miles when you book interior or oceanview cabins
  • 10,000 bonus miles when you book balcony staterooms
  • 25,000 bonus miles when you book suites

Additionally, if you make your reservation by April 21, 2025, you’ll enjoy $200 or more in onboard credit when you book a 7-day cruise in a balcony stateroom or a higher-class room.

You can also earn a bonus if you book with an American Airlines credit card. AA cardholders can earn 1 extra mile per $1 on their cruise spending through December 31, 2025, when booking a cruise through the American Airlines Cruises portal and departing by December 31, 2026.

Here’s the best part: both bonuses are cumulative. That means that if you book by April 30, 2025, and have an AAdvantage card, you can earn 3 AA miles for every $1 spent on your cruise booking with that credit card.

This offer is valid for any stateroom for select departures through the end of 2026. The extra miles do not apply to port charges, port expenses, taxes, or travel protection purchases.

Bear in mind that you need to book through American Airlines Cruises to be eligible for bonus miles.

Hot Tip:

By paying for your cruise with an American Airlines co-branded card, you can double-dip and earn more American Airlines miles.

Final Thoughts

American Airlines Cruises is offering up to 25,000 bonus miles for those who book cruises through April 30. These deals are offered on Norwegian Cruise Line for journeys of varying lengths.

If you’ve been considering booking a cruise — and the price is comparable to booking direct — it may be worth booking through American Airlines to earn a nice chunk of bonus miles.
