American Airlines Cruises has introduced excellent bonuses for booking qualifying cruises in the coming months. With this limited-time deal, you can earn up to 3 American Airlines miles for every $1 just by booking a cruise. Plus, AAdvantage Cardholders can earn double miles when booking a cruise.

Here are all of the details of this offer.

American Airlines Cruises Bonus Offer: Earn up to 3 Miles per $1

There are many websites for booking cruises, and we have found that they usually have identical or incredibly similar prices. The differences come in the bonuses and perks. And if you’re loyal to a particular brand, bonuses for that brand’s currency will catch your attention.

If you’re a fan of American Airlines, you’ll be excited to learn about American Airlines Cruises, a website that allows you to earn American Airlines AAdvantage miles and Loyalty Points when booking cruises.

Make a new booking for select cruises by October 22, 2024, to earn an extra mile on your booking. Normally, you earn 1 mile per $1 spent, but this offer adds a mile per $1 and turns that into 2 AA miles per $1.

You can also earn a bonus if you have and book with an American Airlines credit card. AA cardholders can earn 1 extra mile per $1 on their cruise spending through December 31, 2024, when booking a cruise through the American Airlines Cruises portal and departing by December 31, 2025.

Here’s the best part: Both bonuses are cumulative. That means that, if you book by October 22, 2024, and have an AAdvantage card, you can earn 3 AA miles for every $1 spent on your cruise booking with that credit card.

This offer is valid for any stateroom for select departures through the end of 2025. The extra miles do not apply to port charges, port expenses, taxes, or travel protection purchases.

Bear in mind that you need to book through American Airlines Cruises to be eligible for bonus miles.

Hot Tip:

By paying for your cruise with an American Airlines co-branded card, you can double-dip and earn more American Airlines miles.

Final Thoughts

American Airlines Cruises is offering up to 3 bonus miles per $1 for those who book cruises through October 22. These deals are offered across multiple cruise lines for journeys of varying lengths.

If you’ve been considering booking a cruise — and the price is comparable to booking direct — it may be worth booking through American Airlines to earn a nice chunk of bonus miles.
