American Airlines has announced that it will bring Lavazza coffee to its flights, Admirals Club lounges, and Flagship Lounges starting next year.

This is certainly an exciting development for anyone who loves coffee, as the brand is known for its high quality and delicious taste.

Here’s what you need to know about American Airlines’ Italian coffee revolution.

AA Will Serve Lavazza Coffee Early Next Year

Starting in early 2026, American Airlines will begin serving Lavazza coffee on board its flights in all cabin classes, as well as in Admirals Club and Flagship Lounges.

Lavazza is a family-owned coffee house established in 1895 in Turin, Italy. Since its inception 130 years ago, it’s become known for its high-quality coffee, which blends Italian tradition with modern-day techniques. It’s recognized globally as one of the very best coffee brands.

“At American, we’re focused on looking at every aspect of the customer experience, and a quality cup of coffee is an important part of that journey,” said Heather Garboden, American’s chief customer officer. “We’re proud to team up with this iconic brand to bring a rich, satisfying coffee experience to our customers — whether they’re in the air or relaxing in our lounges.”

The introduction of Lavazza coffee to American flights and lounges is part of the airline’s initiative to elevate its offerings and provide passengers with a more premium experience. The airline recently introduced its all-new Flagship Suite business class product and has been opening new Flagship Lounges in key hubs, with more on the way.

Even if you don’t have access to an American Airlines lounge, you’ll be able to sample a Lavazza coffee on your American Airlines flight.

Final Thoughts

Anyone who loves coffee should be excited to learn that American Airlines will begin serving Lavazza early next year. The best part is that it’s not reserved for the most elite flyers — you can enjoy a cup of the Italian company’s premium blends in any cabin class during your flight.
