Now, thanks to this offer, you can get 2,400 Hilton Honors points for every 1,000 Membership Rewards points you transfer — a bonus of 20%. This offer is available through July 14, 2026.

Is It Worth It?

Amex Membership Rewards points are some of the easiest to earn through cards like the Platinum Card^® from American Express and American Express^® Gold Card. And they’re the most valuable flexible points around, worth 2.2 cents apiece according to our valuations. Because we value Hilton Honors points at 0.5 cents apiece, you’ll likely lose value when you transfer Amex points to Hilton.

However, transferring Amex points over to Hilton can make sense if you need to top off your account balance for a specific Hilton redemption or if you have a short, inexpensive stay.
