How does $250 off your next trip across the Atlantic sound?

Thanks to Amex’s latest Virgin Atlantic Amex Offer, you can get just that when you spend $1,800 or more on flights from the U.S.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Details of Virgin Atlantic Amex Offer

Check your American Express account(s) to see if you have a targeted Amex Offer from Virgin Atlantic that can earn you $250 back when you spend $1,800 or more on eligible purchases by March 30, 2025.

We spotted this offer on The Platinum Card® by American Express, but it may also appear on other American Express credit cards, so be sure to check each one if you have multiple.

The offer must be redeemed by the end of March, so you have a few months to book your travels.

You can often find round-trip fares to the U.K. in economy with Virgin for less than $500. So a family or friends group trip to London could easily trigger this offer.

It’s time to get that trip out of the group chat!

And for those who might be up for treating themselves, leveling up to business class for $2,937 would trigger the $250 back, meaning you’d get a round-trip ticket in Virgin’s swanky Upper Class for $2,687.

That’s a solid value for a nonstop flight in business class across the Atlantic and back.

It’s worth noting that flights must originate in the U.S. and be paid for in U.S. dollars directly through Virgin Atlantic’s website. Using third-party websites or agencies won’t trigger the $250 cash back.

Using the Amex Platinum card to buy these flights would also earn you 5x bonus Membership Rewards points on your Virgin Atlantic flights in addition to the $250 you’d save with this Amex Offer. The 5x earning rate applies to flights booked directly with airlines or via AmexTravel.com (up to $500,000 per year).

Hot Tip:

When booking a flight with Virgin Atlantic, be sure to double-check which aircraft you’re flying. You’ll find the best and most up-to-date Upper Class seats on the airline’s fleet of Airbus A350-1000 and Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.

Final Thoughts

This is a great example of where Amex Offers can save you a chunk of cash on your next vacation.

Take into account the Membership Rewards points you will earn when using the card for your airfare purchases, and this Amex Offer is a definite win-win in our book.
