The day has finally arrived: The swanky new Andaz Lisbon is open and ready to welcome guests.

Luxury Andaz Hotel In Lisbon Open Now

The Andaz Lisbon — the brand’s first location in Portugal and only sixth location in Europe — features 170 guest rooms and suites, including a loft suite and a presidential suite.

At the heart of the 5-star hotel is its dining program, which includes the terrace-and-rooftop restaurant, Luzzi, which serves modern Lusitanian cuisine, and the Andaz Lounge. Other amenities include pet-friendly accommodations, a fitness center, and a spa.

The hotel is located in Lisbon’s Baixa neighborhood, which is known for its historic landmarks, shopping, and dining. Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) is a 25-minute drive away. The Andaz Lisbon joins the Hyatt Regency Lisbon and a handful of Mr and Mrs Smith boutique hotels as World of Hyatt-affiliated options for stays in the city.

Last year, Hyatt announced plans to triple its portfolio in Portugal by 2027. Part of those plans included The Standard, Lisbon, which is also expected to open this year and will feature 170 guest rooms and 24 extended stay apartments. When booking direct via Hyatt’s website, cash rates during low season start at $309 per night. That represents particularly good value for an Andaz hotel.

However, you can get equally as good value by using World of Hyatt points instead, saving your hard-earned cash to enjoy the culinary delights of Lisboa. The Category 6 property only requires 21,000 points per night during off-peak dates, 25,000 points per night during standard dates, and 29,000 points per night during peak dates.
