In the same building that once housed The Confidante Miami, the highly anticipated Andaz Miami Beach is finally welcoming guests for the first time.

This property is the first Andaz location to open in Florida. It was set to open in “late 2024” and, having experienced several delays, is now officially receiving guests for stays.

Let’s take a peek at some of the rooms and what you can expect to pay for a stay at the brand-new Andaz Miami Beach.

What To Expect at Andaz Miami Beach

Hyatt’s luxury lifestyle Andaz brand is officially debuting in Miami Beach with the opening of the Andaz Miami Beach today.

The beachfront hotel comprises 287 rooms and 67 suites, beautifully appointed in the classic art deco style that Miami is known for.

There’s a total of 7 room categories and a whopping 13 types of suites to choose from.

The entry-level room is the King Bed Deluxe.

As well as direct access to the beach, guests have 2 pools to enjoy during their stay. The spa and beach club will open in the following months.

In terms of dining, the José Andrés Group is curating 3 on-site dining concepts: Aguasal and Bar Centro, which are currently open, and José Andrés’ highly anticipated The Bazaar, set to debut later this year.

How To Book Andaz Miami Beach

A great value way to pay for a stay at an Andaz property is, of course, by redeeming World of Hyatt points.

The all-new Andaz Miami Beach is a Category 6 World of Hyatt property with a standard room in the off-season (June 2025) starting at 21,000 points per night. That’s a pretty good deal!

At the other end of the scale, the lowest suite rate comes in at 42,000 points per night.

If you’re low on points, the nightly rate for a King Bed Deluxe entry-level room will set you back from $506 during the off-season in June, while you’ll pay just $90 per night more to indulge in a Miami Suite — the entry-level room in the suite category.

Hot Tip:

There are many ways to earn Hyatt points, including staying at Hyatt hotels, spending on Hyatt credit cards, and transferring points from Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards.

Final Thoughts

As lovers of the Andaz brand here at Upgraded Points, we’re excited about the opening of the new location in Miami Beach. After repeated delays in the grand opening, visitors to Miami Beach can now enjoy a high-end Andaz with direct beachfront access.

The hotel’s prime location means an exciting new redemption opportunity for World of Hyatt loyalists who want in on the action on bustling Collins Avenue.
