Located just 15 minutes from Sequoia National Park in California, Autocamp Sequoia opens for guests on March 15, 2025, just in time for your spring break travels.

Let’s take a look at Autocamp Sequoia and the best way to book it with Hilton Honors points.

Autocamp Sequoia Opens Near National Park

Autocamp Sequoia has an interesting mix of room types: Airstream Suites, Cabins, BaseCamp Suites, and Bunk Rooms, which is a first for the brand.

Amenities include a “general store,” a kitchen, a restaurant, an outdoor pool, EV charging stations, free Wi-Fi, fire pits, meeting spaces, and more.

If you aren’t familiar, Autocamp is a hospitality company focused on the outdoors that aims to provide “luxury glamping” experiences among nature. Hilton Honors announced a partnership with the company last year that enables guests to book directly through Hilton’s website or app and enjoy some elite benefits during their stay (more on that below).

Eight Autocamp properties are currently open or are opening soon. These include locations like Joshua Tree, California, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Catskills, New York. An Autocamp property in Asheville, North Carolina, is scheduled to open in September 2025.

Booking Autocamp Sequoia and Getting Hilton Honors Perks

Autocamp Sequoia can be booked with Hilton Honors points starting on March 15. Unfortunately, award rates here aren’t great. A 1-night stay starts at 131,000 Hilton Honors points, though rates go up to 185,000 points per night on some nights.

Fortunately, Hilton Honors points are extremely easy to earn. You can earn points by opening a Hilton co-branded credit card, transferring points from American Express Membership Rewards, riding with Lyft, or dining through Hilton Honors Dining.

Cash rates at AutoCamp Sequoia are pretty reasonable, starting at around $260 per night. Hilton Honors members will also earn 10x points per $1 spent on your room rate.

Additionally, guests with Hilton Honors elite status will receive the following perks at Autocamp properties:

  • Silver members: 2 eco-friendly waters
  • Gold members: 1 bundle of firewood per stay, 2 eco-friendly waters, and a space-available upgrade
  • Diamond members: 1 s’mores kit, 1 bundle of firewood per stay, 2 eco-friendly waters, and a space-available upgrade
Hot Tip:

All guests — even those without elite status — have access to complimentary granola, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate each morning of your stay at an Autocamp property.

Final Thoughts

Autocamp Sequoia is a pretty neat property, offering some cool room types like Airstream suites. Award stays, while plentiful, are pretty expensive for a brand that is focused on glamping experiences. Still, cash rates are pretty reasonable, and the perks available if you’re a Hilton Honors elite member are pretty decent.
