The Alila Ventana Big Sur is located in Big Sur, California, perched on a hill overlooking the beautiful Pacific coastline. The hotel is stunning, but this luxury property is extra special because you can book it with points, and it’s all-inclusive.

Aside from Miraval properties, points and miles fans don’t have too many options when looking for an all-inclusive vacation in the U.S. While the price does not include alcohol, it does include everything else you might need.

The only downside to this property is that finding award availability can be extremely difficult. With cash rates often over $3,000 per night, snagging a room (for 2 people) for only 45,000 World of Hyatt points is a steal, especially when you read what is included, and can apply Suite Upgrade Awards (SUAs) to your stay.

Right now, we are seeing a few dates available starting in June 2025 at 45,000 points, but the majority of availability is for suites from January through June 2026.

With cash rates creeping up around $2,900 after taxes for the same dates, using points for a suite is a no-brainer.

For just 66,000 points per night, you’re redeeming your World of Hyatt points at a rate of 4.4 cents each for this 2-night stay, which is almost 3x our valuation of World of Hyatt points of 1.5 cents each.

Finding Award Availability

There is no arguing that finding this availability can be frustrating. Fortunately, we have done most of the heavy lifting, so now you can narrow in on some dates that work for you.

We recommend starting with a free tool like Rooms.aero, PointsYeah, or MaxMyPoints, which will make searching large parameters much easier. Much of the award availability we are seeing is for 2 nights, so be sure to add that setting during your searches.
