The beachfront resort will feature 382 guestrooms, 6 dining venues, a 9,000-square-foot spa with 14 treatment rooms, an outdoor vitality pool, and a fitness center.

As a World of Hyatt Category 6 property, award nights will range from 21,000 points for off-peak to 25,000 for standard and 29,000 for peak nights — an excellent value compared with cash rates starting around $800 per night.

While the resort is expected to open this fall, award availability for next year is already wide open, with nights available almost daily from the end of March through September 2026.

How To Find Award Availability

For searching award nights at the Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman, we recommend using MaxMyPoint. Its intuitive calendar function makes finding available dates simple. Using the tool, we were easily able to spot tons of standard availability starting in late March and early April 2026 — perfect timing for spring break — and continuing through the end of the calendar in September 2026.

If you’re open to visiting during the summer months, you can even take advantage of off-peak award nights for as low as 21,000 points per night.

Final Thoughts

While the Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman isn’t open yet — it is expected to debut this fall — planners looking to maximize their Hyatt points ahead of time for a Caribbean getaway should take note.

We found plenty of daily award availability from March through September 2026, making it easy to lock in a stay well in advance. If you’ve been dreaming of visiting Grand Cayman, securing nights at the island’s first Hyatt property is a smart move for both value and convenience.
