Want extra Lufthansa Miles & More miles? A new promotion could give you quadruple earnings at Best Western hotels in Europe for the next 2 months.

Miles & More miles can be difficult to earn because the program lacks transfer partners, so this promotion is especially appealing. Let’s check out the details.

Earn 4x Miles & More Miles at Best Western Hotels

Typically, you can earn 500 Miles & More miles when staying at Best Western hotels. That’s if you choose to earn miles instead of Best Western Rewards points.

Through November 30, 2024, however, you can earn 4 times that amount, coming away with 2,000 Miles & More miles per stay, starting on your second stay. That means you’d earn the typical 500 miles on your first stay but 1,500 bonus miles (for a total of 2,000 miles per stay) on subsequent stays through November 30.

Unfortunately, this offer is only valid in certain European countries. Those include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia.

You also need to register for this offer before your first stay, and only stays after you register qualify.

These are the key terms to know for this promotion:

  • There’s no minimum stay requirement.
  • Back-to-back stays at the same property are treated as 1 stay, even if you check out and check in again.
  • You don’t earn bonus miles aren’t on group rates, conference rates, vacation packages, or long-term rental rates.
  • Bonus miles credit to your account within 4 to 6 weeks after the stay.
  • Miles are earned only for the room the member stays in, even if the reservation has more than 1 room.
Bottom Line:

This offer applies to stays in October and November 2024, but it’s only valid in select European countries, requires registration, and requires you to choose to earn Miles & More miles instead of Best Western points.

Is It Worth It?

We value Best Western points at 0.6 cents apiece and Miles & More miles at 1.3 cents apiece. Typically, you earn Best Western points at a rate of 10 points per $1 spent (after conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable) at Best Western Hotels. That’s a 6% return on spending. If you spent $200 on a hotel stay, you’d earn $12 worth of Best Western points.

Conversely, you could earn 2,000 Miles & More miles on that stay, assuming this was at least your second stay during the current promotion. That’d be $26 worth of miles.

The negative side of this promotion is that you only earn quadruple miles on your second and subsequent stays. However, the fact that the bonus counts per stay is better for travelers booking short, inexpensive stays.

Hot Tip:

Check out the best uses of Miles & More miles to help you decide whether you should earn them and how to use them if you do.

Final Thoughts

Through November 30, you can earn quadruple Miles & More miles on Best Western stays in select European countries. The bonus earnings only start with your second stay, though, so this promotion’s restrictions won’t make everyone happy. For those who can make it work, this could be a great way to build your Miles & More balance.
