Bilt Members Can Now Earn and Redeem Points for Blacklane Chauffeur Service

Bilt Rewards has added Blacklane, a global chauffeur service, to its travel lineup. Members can now book Blacklane rides through the Bilt Concierge or the Bilt Travel Portal, earn or redeem Bilt Points on each trip, and access an annual credit tied to their status.

What Is Blacklane?

Blacklane is a chauffeur service operating in more than 60 countries. The Berlin-based company was recently acquired by Uber, and Blacklane handles airport transfers, city-to-city rides, and hourly bookings, working with tens of thousands of chauffeur partners. It sits at the premium end of ground transportation, alongside the airline, hotel, and dining options already in the Bilt ecosystem.

What the Bilt-Blacklane Partnership Includes

Bilt Rewards members can book Blacklane through the Bilt Concierge or the Bilt Travel Portal. Paid rides earn 1x Bilt Points, in addition to any rewards from a linked credit card. At checkout, members can pay with Bilt Points, a linked credit or debit card, Bilt Cash credit, or a combination of those. However, rides don’t earn points if part of the fare is covered with points or credits.

Members can also redeem Bilt Cash for a Blacklane credit based on Bilt status. Platinum members can redeem up to $150 a year, Gold members up to $100, and Blue and Silver members up to $50 annually. The credit runs on a calendar-year cycle — meaning January 1 through December 31 — and resets each year.

A Blacklane ride can be booked on its own or added to a trip already booked through Bilt, so airport pickups and city rides can sit alongside flights and hotels in the same account.

How To Book Blacklane Through Bilt

Booking runs through the Bilt app:

1. Open the Bilt Concierge or the Bilt Travel Portal.
2. Book your ride and choose how to pay: Bilt Points, a linked card, your Bilt Cash credit, or a combination.
3. Earn up to 1x Bilt Points automatically on the journey.
4. Redeem Bilt Cash once a year for your Blacklane credit based on status. The credit runs January 1 through December 31 and resets annually.
