Marriott is upping the level of luxury for some of its hotel guests in New York this summer.

A new partnership with Blade will allow a very select few eligible guests to be whisked from the airport to the hotel via Blade helicopter between July 1, 2024, and September 2, 2024.

“As summer travel season can be especially hectic, we’re excited to introduce this bespoke partnership that will streamline and enhance our guests’ journeys before even setting foot in our suites,” said George Hammer, global head of luxury marketing at Marriott International.

Here’s how it works.

Arrive At Your Hotel In Style With Blade and Marriott This Summer

The hottest travel partnership in Manhattan this summer has arrived.

Splashing the cash on a luxurious stay at select Marriott Luxury Group properties in New York City this summer will get you complimentary Blade transfers between either John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and your hotel on arrival and departure.

This is the first time we’ve seen a partnership of this kind in the industry.

Guests staying 2 nights or more in select suites at the following hotels will be eligible for complimentary Blade helicopter rides to and from JFK and EWR.

Book reservations, including Blade transfers, for these properties here.

“Spanning the Luxury Group’s portfolio of brands, this collaboration with Blade advances our mission to provide guests with exceptional service and amenities through innovation and imagination,” said Hammer.

Guests will enjoy the sights of New York City from the sky as they’re flown from the airport to Blade’s Manhattan helipad, cutting horrendous airport journey times down to as little as 5 minutes.

From arrival at either the Blade Lounge East on East 34th Street or the Blade Lounge West on West 30th Street, guests will be chauffeur-driven in a luxury car to their hotel.

Marriott and Blade will extend a lighter version of this offer through discounted Blade transfers for all guests staying at these hotels, irrespective of room type.

Hot Tip:

When spending cash rather than redeeming points on a Marriott hotel stay, we recommend using a credit card that will reward spending at Marriott hotels.

Final Thoughts

It’s giving Kardashian realness. The partnership between Blade and Marriott’s Luxury Group is certainly an innovative way to level up a guest’s experience.

Let’s hope the limited-time project is deemed worthy enough to become a permanent feature and, who knows, maybe even a perk for top-tier Marriott Bonvoy elites
