With the FIFA World Cup 2026 coming to North America next year, Bank of America is getting in on the excitement.

The bank is rolling out limited-edition World Cup designs for 2 of its cash-back credit cards — and new cardholders may also get access to a short ticket-purchase window for select matches next year.

Here’s what you need to know.

New Card Designs and Ticket Access: What To Know

New FIFA World Cup 2026 Card Designs

Starting December 4, new applicants of the Bank of America® Customized Cash Rewards credit card or Bank of America® Unlimited Cash Rewards credit card can choose from 2 limited-edition FIFA World Cup 2026 designs. These designs are available through July 2026, giving applicants a fairly wide window to opt in.

The cards themselves won’t change in terms of features or earning structure — the design is simply a themed, limited-time option tied to the World Cup’s arrival in North America.

Limited Ticket Purchase Opportunity for New Cardholders

Bank of America is also offering select new cardholders the opportunity to purchase tickets for select World Cup matches. This isn’t a sweepstakes or guaranteed seat — it’s simply an early-access window reserved for people who open a Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards card during the required dates.

To qualify, you’ll need to apply for the card between December 4, 2025, and January 5, 2026, and have your card fully opened by February 5, 2026.

If you meet those requirements, Bank of America will send you a unique link on February 10, 2026, giving you the option to purchase up to 2 tickets, while supplies last.

The same link will also appear in online banking and the mobile app for easy access. The sale opens at 12 p.m. ET on February 10 and runs through February 24, unless tickets sell out earlier.

Keep in mind that you’ll need a FIFA ID to complete the purchase, which you can register for here, and availability varies by match — so this is just an opportunity, not a guarantee.

Hot Tip:

If you’re already considering one of these Bank of America cash-back cards and want a shot at World Cup tickets, mark February 10 at 12 p.m. ET on your calendar. Ensure your FIFA ID is set up in advance — this offer grants you access to the ticket portal, and seats will be available for a limited time.

Final Thoughts

Bank of America’s World Cup-themed card designs are a fun feature for soccer fans, but the real highlight is the early purchase window to possibly nab hard-to-get tickets for a World Cup match.

We wouldn’t suggest applying for either of these cards just to get the World Cup design or the chance to buy tickets — those perks are nice extras, not reasons on their own to open a new account. However, if you are already considering one of these Bank of America cash-back cards, be sure to apply between December 4, 2025, and January 5, 2026, to be eligible for the ticket window.
