Those looking to earn JetBlue Mosaic status this year, listen up: You can earn double tiles on cruise bookings through JetBlue Vacations for a limited time.

Normally, you only earn tiles on bookings that include a cruise and flight together. Right now, you can earn double tiles on cruises whether or not you book a flight along with it.

This offer is available through March 31, and it applies to sailings through December 31, 2025.

Let’s check out the details of this new offer.

Earn Double Tiles on Cruises With JetBlue Vacations

When booking with JetBlue Vacations, you normally earn 1 tile for each $100 spent. And normally, you only earn tiles on cruises if you combine them with a flight in 1 package.

With this offer, you can earn 2 tiles per $100 spent on cruises, even if you don’t book a JetBlue flight with it.

This promotion covers bookings made from February 28 to March 31, and it applies to cruises that depart by December 31, 2025. Your cruise doesn’t need to end by that date, though — it just needs to set sail by the end of 2025.

JetBlue Vacations won’t assign all of the tiles to the person who pays for the trip, though. That’s worth noting.

Tiles toward Mosaic status qualification are earned on a per-passenger basis, divided evenly among the people listed on the itinerary. Thus, a $2,000 reservation with 4 passengers would allocate a cost of $500 to each person to determine their earnings. Meaning that each person in your group of 4 would earn 10 tiles towards status in JetBlue’s revamped loyalty program.

You’ll want to make sure that everyone in your group has a TrueBlue number before you make your booking, because they’ll forfeit their rewards if the number isn’t added during the reservation process.

If you book a flight-plus-cruise package, you’ll earn 2 tiles per $100 spent on the pre-tax cost of the package. If you book a cruise without flights, you’ll earn 2 tiles per $100 spent on the pre-tax cost of the cruise itself.

You’ll also earn 1x JetBlue TrueBlue point per $1 spent on cruises booked without a flight —though you’ll earn 6x-9x points per $1 spent if you’re booking a package that includes flights.

JetBlue Vacations offers cruises from numerous popular cruise lines, such as Carnival, MSC, and Royal Caribbean. However, it doesn’t offer cruises from Disney.

Here are the key terms you need to know:

  • This offer applies to new bookings made February 28 until March 31, 2025.
  • Cruises must depart by December 31, 2025, to qualify.
  • Your TrueBlue account number must be added at the time of booking to earn tiles.
  • Bonus tiles will be awarded 4-6 weeks after your trip is complete.
  • All tiles will be counted toward the 2025 status qualification year.

Is It Worth It?

JetBlue Vacations allows cruise-only bookings, opening more destinations than you can access with flight-plus-cruise offers. That’s because those are restricted to destinations where JetBlue flies.

However, booking a cruise in isolation means you can choose places like the Galapagos, Antarctica, and the Mediterranean on top of the Caribbean, Mexico, and other destinations closer to home.

To qualify for Mosaic status, you need to earn tiles. JetBlue’s elite tiers are known as Mosaic 1, Mosaic 2, Mosaic 3, and Mosaic 4. Earning these status levels requires earning 50, 100, 150, and 250 tiles, respectively, in a year.

To earn 50 tiles from a cruise, you’d need to spend $2,500. And that’s just for your portion of the cruise package, as JetBlue will divide the cost of the reservation equally across all travelers. Should you try to reach Mosaic status just from this offer alone? Not really, but it’s a nice boost to your other options for earning tiles, such as flying and spending on a JetBlue co-branded credit card.

Final Thoughts

Through March 31, you can book a cruise with JetBlue Vacations and earn double tiles toward JetBlue Mosaic elite status. This applies to all sailings that depart by December 31, 2025.

This promotion alone shouldn’t be your plan for earning status or moving up to a higher tier, but it can be a nice complement to your other options if a cruise is part of your travel plans this year.
