The low-cost Breeze Airways is back with another interesting route, offering flights between San Bernardino, California (SBD) and Provo, Utah (PVU).

There’s a lot to cover, so without further adieu, let’s dive right in!

First Nonstop Flights Between the 2 Cities

Breeze Airways has announced nonstop flights between San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) in California to Provo-Salt Lake City (PVU) in Utah.

The route begins on February 7, 2025, with 2x weekly service on Mondays and Fridays.

This is the first flights between the 2 destinations — sort of. Breeze previously offered a 1-stop “BreezeThru” service between San Bernardino and Provo, but now the flight is nonstop.

This is Breeze’s second nonstop flight from San Bernardino, which it began serving back in 2022. Breeze also flies between SBD and San Francisco (SFO). The airline also has a pretty big presence in Provo, serving short-haul destinations like Phoenix (PHX) and Grand Junction, Colorado (GJT), as well as longer routes like Orlando (MCO) and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

“When we announced service from SBD in August of 2022, we became the airport’s first commercial carrier offering nonstop service to San Francisco and direct service to Provo,” said Breeze CEO David Neeleman. “San Bernardino has proven to be a great airport for our Guests and the community with convenient service, inexpensive parking, and now more options for nonstop travel.”

How To Book Breeze’s New Flight to Utah

Flights are now on sale, with one-way tickets starting at just $39.

Breeze uses unbundled offerings to keep prices low, which means you’ll pay extra for ancillary purchases, like seat selection and baggage.

Regardless of which option you choose, it’s essential to book your flight with a travel rewards credit card. The best cards for flight purchases include The Platinum Card® from American ExpressCapital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, and Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

Hot Tip:

Breeze also has a credit card, the Breeze Easy™ Visa Signature® Credit Card. This card is best if you fly Breeze regularly. You’ll earn up to 10x points per $1 spent on Nicer Bundles, Nicest Bundles, and Trip Add-Ons; up to 4xpoints on Nice bundles; 2x points on eligible grocery store and restaurant purchases (including in-flight); and 1x on all other purchases.

Final Thoughts

Breeze has launched an exciting route between Southern California and Utah. This route is particularly interesting because it’s the first nonstop flight between these 2 cities. With flights starting at just $39 each way, Breeze is offering a fantastic option for exploring either city on a budget.
