Starting January 1, 2026, Breeze Airways will be introducing a major update to its Breezy Rewards loyalty program.

Breeze Airways has designed these changes to make the program more straightforward, flexible, and rewarding, offering additional ways to earn and redeem BreezePoints. From elite status tiers to confirmed upgrades at booking, Buddy Discounts, and boosted point earnings, the overhaul provides frequent travelers with a more valuable path to perks and rewards.

Let’s take a look.

Earning and Redeeming BreezePoints

Here’s the big picture: Breezy Rewards uses a revenue-based model, not mileage, so it’s easier to understand how your flights translate into points. Moving forward after January 1, 2026, you can earn up to 5 status-qualifying points per $1 spent, with additional opportunities to boost that by 100% if you reach certain levels.

And the points you earn? They’re valid for 2 years, with a guaranteed value of at least $0.01 apiece —although some flights and dates may offer you even more.

Status Tiers: Breezy 1, 2, 3, and Club

The updated program introduces 4 status tiers: Breezy 1, Breezy 2, Breezy 3, and Breezy Club, unlocked by earning 15,000, 30,000, 60,000, and 120,000 status-qualifying points, respectively.

Current members don’t need to take any action; account numbers and existing points will carry over automatically. These tiers determine access to perks like confirmed upgrades, Breezy Select Benefits, and Buddy Discounts.

Confirmed Upgrades and Buddy Discounts

Upgrades will now be confirmed at the time of booking, removing the uncertainty of waiting at the gate. Members at qualifying levels can also access Breezy Select Benefits, which include extra one-way upgrades, bonus status points, and Buddy Discounts up to 100% off the base fare for travel companions.

Buddy Discounts can be applied to anyone on your reservation, are not limited to reward travel, and can be used as often as your status allows.

Accelerated Earning With the Breeze Easy Card

If you hold the Breeze Easy™ Visa Signature® Credit Card, you’ll be able to accelerate point earning, double status-qualifying points, and earn up to 10x points total on Breeze purchases. Points earned with the card never expire, and cardholders will continue to earn 2x on eligible grocery store and restaurant purchases, including Breeze Airways inflight food and beverages.

Hot Tip:

If you fly Breeze often, check your status tier and perks. Confirmed upgrades and Buddy Discounts can add real value, especially for companion travel.

Final Thoughts

If you fly Breeze regularly, these changes are worth being aware of. Starting January 1, 2026, Breezy Rewards will make it easier to see where you stand with status tiers, earn points on flights and bundles, and get upgrades confirmed right away.

The Buddy Discounts can also make a difference if you travel with companions. Nothing you’ve already earned is changing, so it’s mostly about giving you a clearer picture of your points and perks — and figuring out how to use them in ways that make sense for your travel.
