Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is back with some exciting news. The airline will launch 3 new nonstop routes and increase the frequency of another.

Here’s what you need to know!

New Breeze Routes Coming This Fall

Breeze is boosting its service along the East Coast, with the following new routes slated to begin in October of this year:

  • Burlington, VT (BTV) to Fort Myers (RSW) commencing on October 4, 2024
  • Long Island, NY (ISP) to Fort Myers (RSW) commencing on October 2, 2024
  • Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA (AVP) to Tampa (TPA) commencing on October 18, 2024

All of these new routes will operate twice weekly.

Additionally, starting October 8, 2024, Breeze will increase service from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to Orlando (MCO) from 4x weekly to 5x weekly.

“Breeze continues to expand our fall and winter service into Florida, and now serves eight destinations within the state,” said Breeze Airways’ president Tom Doxey. “Now, Guests in Long Island, Burlington, and Scranton will have more opportunities to escape to the Sunshine State while enjoying Breeze’s Seriously Nice service and fares.”

How To Book

Tickets for these routes are now on sale, with the cheapest No Flex Fare seats starting at $79 each way. These are Breeze’s most restrictive, and no changes to your ticket are allowed.

Nice fares and above allow you to change and cancel your ticket. You can also bring a carry-on and earn more BreezePoints on these fares.

Regardless of what option you choose, Breeze operates à la carte pricing. It keeps prices low by charging customers for ancillary purchases, such as seat selection and baggage.

Once you’ve selected your flight, you’ll want to pay with a credit card that rewards flight purchases. These include cards like The Platinum Card® from American ExpressCapital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, and Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

Breeze also launched a co-branded credit card this spring. With it, you can earn up to 10x points on Breeze purchases. Additional earnings include 2x points on eligible grocery store and restaurant purchases and food and beverages on Breeze.

Final Thoughts

Breeze is expanding its route network by adding several new routes connecting Florida and the Northeast. Even better, the airline is offering dirt-cheap tickets for the routes. If you’re interested, make sure to book before they’re gone!
