Low-cost Breeze Airways has been on a roll lately with new routes, and today is no different. The airline will add several new flights from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), according to updates on its website.

Here’s what you need to know.

Breeze Expands at RDU

Breeze Airways will add flights from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) to the following cities next spring: Bangor, Maine (BGR), New York Stewart International Airport (SWF), and Vero Beach, Florida (VRB).

Flights are expected to commence in early May and will operate twice a week. Interestingly, Breeze will offer the only nonstop flights from Raleigh to all 3 cities, which should make these flights instantly popular.

The new routes were first reported by Ishrion Aviation on X, and later confirmed by updates on Breeze’s website.

It’s been a busy year for Breeze, a budget airline that launched back in 2021. This year, Breeze announced a slew of new routes, including its first international flights to Cancun (CUN), Montego Bay (MBJ), and Punta Cana (PUJ).

Breeze is also gearing up for sweeping changes to its Breezy Rewards program, which take place on January 1, 2026. The airline is updating how you’ll earn and redeem BreezePoints, as well as adding status tiers to its program.

Booking Breeze’s New Routes From RDU

Breeze’s new flights from Raleigh are now available at flybreeze.com. The airline doesn’t seem to be running any promotions for the new routes; however, tickets are very affordable.

Tickets in the most restrictive fare class, No Flex Fare, start at $56 one-way between RDU and SWF. Note that no changes to your ticket are allowed with these fares.

Nice fares and above allow you to change or cancel your ticket, bring a carry-on, and earn more BreezePoints.

Keep in mind that Breeze operates on an à la carte pricing model. It keeps prices low by charging customers for ancillary purchases, such as seat selection, snacks, and baggage.

Hot Tip:

If you fly Breeze often, you may want to add its co-branded credit card to your wallet. You can earn up to 10x points on Breeze purchases, plus 2x points on eligible grocery store and restaurant purchases and food and beverages on Breeze.

Final Thoughts

Breeze already has a significant presence at Raleigh-Durham, and it plans to expand further with 3 new routes along the East Coast. In line with Breeze’s business model, the flights are very affordable and should be a welcome addition for travelers in the Research Triangle.
