Langham Hospitality Group (LHG), the parent company of The Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels & Resorts, and more, announced that it would be launching an all-new loyalty program to replace its existing 2 programs.

The new Brilliant by Langham program will go live on Thursday, February 29, 2024 — here’s everything else you need to know.

Langham Hospitality Group Retires Existing Loyalty Programs

Langham Hospitality Group’s 2 existing loyalty programs — Langham Supper Club and 1865 Privilege by Langham — will be officially retired tomorrow, February 28, 2024. Then, a day later, the all-new Brilliant by Langham program will be live.

According to the hospitality group, the new Brilliant by Langham program will blend elements of a traditional loyalty program with “preference-led offerings and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.”

It will extend to 30 participating hotels across the Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels & Resorts, Eaton, and Ying’nFlo brands. The Chelsea Hotel in Toronto also participates.

“Brilliant by Langham empowers us to meet the growing demand for more rewarding, personalized, and captivating hospitality encounters, LHG chief executive officer Bob van den Oord said. “By creating at system that enables us to offer guests immediate benefits, learn more about their preferences, compensate them for repeat business, and craft bespoke experiential offerings for them, we have significantly enhanced our ability to build great memories.”

Brilliant by Langham Loyalty Program Details

First of all, it’s free to sign up for the program. All members — regardless of status level — are entitled to member room rates as well as discounts at over 100 restaurants.

Qualifying activity will earn both status and award points. Status points will determine the level of status achieved, while award points can be redeemed for stays, dining experiences, and wellness experiences (coming soon).

Examples of some of the non-accommodation experiences that members can redeem points for include the following, as described by LHG. Note, however, that the chain notes the actual offerings will be determined by the preferences of Brilliant members.

  • Private cooking lessons and dinners with celebrity chefs
  • Behind-the-scenes dance and musical performance encounters
  • Nature walks with guided mindfulness sessions
  • Off-the-beaten-path tours hosted by local guides
  • Traditional crafting workshops with seasoned artisans
  • Themed tea parties in picturesque locations

The Brilliant by Langham program will have 5 elite status tiers: Onyx, Topaz, Diamond, Sapphire, and Ruby. Members earn 150 points for every $5 spent. The chart below lays out all of the benefits and requirements associated with each tier.

LHG doesn’t have a massive presence around the globe, though it does have a presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

There are also several well-regarded Langham properties in several cities in the U.S., including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles (Pasadena), and New York. The Langham will also be coming soon to San Francisco and Seattle, and there’s also an Eaton hotel in Washington, D.C.

Hot Tip:

Before booking your stay, make sure you read up on the best credit cards to use for hotel stays so you can reap the maximum amount of rewards for your money spent.

Final Thoughts

While U.S.-based travelers may not be intimately familiar with Langham Hospitality Group brands, the hotels — especially those in The Langham Hotels & Resorts brand — have pretty stellar reputations worldwide.

As the chain continues to expand, travelers should take note of this luxury brand and its new loyalty program so they can earn points to be redeemed for stays and much more in the future.
