Through February 6, 2026 at 5 p.m. ET, eligible members of the British Airways Club can use cash to increase the Avios they earned from qualifying transactions in 2025 and 2026. Instead of the usual 100% to 300% boost options, this promo adds 400% and 500% tiers, the highest ever offered.

If you’re eligible, head to the Avios Balance Boost page, log in to your British Airways Club account, and you should see the available boost options tied to your recent earning activity.

Not every account will qualify — you’ll need enough recent Avios activity to trigger the offer — but we found that transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways made the boost option appear. Based on the offers found on Upgraded Points team members’ accounts, the effective purchase rate works out to about 1.25 cents per Avios, whether you choose the 100% boost or max out the 500% option.

That’s right in line with our valuation of Avios at 1.25 cents apiece. In other words, you’re not getting an amazing bargain, but you’re also not overpaying to buy Avios. This makes the promo most useful for topping off an account for a specific award, rather than buying speculatively.
