For the last few years, British Airways has released batches of select flights that can only be booked by British Airways Club members using their Avios, BA’s frequent flyer currency.

The airline has released the latest list of flights for 2025, along with the booking rates. Keep in mind that only a small selection of flights is available, they can only be booked with Avios, and they all originate in London.

Here’s what you need to know about the newest Avios-only flights.

British Airways’ Latest Avios-Only Flights

As reported by AwardWallet, British Airways doesn’t specify when it will drop the roster of Avios-only flights or provide any advance notice regarding the destinations. However, they’ve been loaded into the system and can be booked now.

The latest Avios-only routes will take travelers between London Heathrow (LHR) and both Málaga, Spain (AGP) and Marrakech, Morocco (RAK).

The Avios-only flight from London to Málaga will operate on October 26, 2025 (BA422); the return leg operates on November 2, 2025 (BA423). Tickets can be booked with Avios and a cash copay at the following rates (pricing is one-way):

  • 12,750 Avios plus £0.50 ($0.65)
  • 12,000 Avios plus £4.50 (~$6)
  • 9,250 Avios plus £12.50 (~$16)
  • 8,250 Avios plus £17.50 (~$23)
  • 5,250 Avios plus £47.50 (~$61)
  • 3,250 Avios plus £57.50 (~$74)

AwardWallet notes that BA is not charging different rates for economy and business class awards on flights between London and Málaga.

The Avios-only flight from London to Marrakech will operate on October 25, 2025 (BA668), with the return leg operating on November 1, 2025 (BA669). Tickets can be booked at the following rates, each reflecting a different combination of Avios and a cash copay (pricing is one-way):

  • 27,250 Avios plus £12.50 (~$16)
  • 26,500 Avios plus £16.50 (~$21)
  • 19,750 Avios plus £29.50 (~$38)
  • 18,350 Avios plus £37.00 (~$48)
  • 14,750 Avios plus £84.50 (~$109)
  • 11,750 Avios plus £109.50 (~$142)

Quantities are limited, and AwardWallet found that economy seats on London-Marrakech flights are already sold out. If these flights and dates work for your schedule, you’ll want to act quickly to secure your ticket.

Earning British Airways Avios

It’s easy to earn British Airways Avios. The British Airways Club program has many transfer partners, including American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy.

With the exception of Marriott Bonvoy, all currencies transfer at a 1:1 ratio. Marriott Bonvoy points transfer at a 3:1 ratio with a 5,000-Avios bonus for every 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points transferred.

Additionally, you can instantly transfer Avios points between all the airline programs that use Avios as their currency. These include Aer Lingus AerClub, Finnair Plus, Iberia Plus, Vueling Club, and Qatar Airways Privilege Club.

Final Thoughts

British Airways has revealed the latest Avios-only destinations for this year: Málaga, Spain, and Marrakech, Morocco. Both are popular destinations, especially among Europeans seeking a bit of sun as the weather turns colder and darker in the United Kingdom in the fall.

If you’re interested in booking either of these flights, don’t hesitate to do so, as they’re sure to be snapped up quickly!
