Marriott International offers a small-business-focused booking platform called Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy.

Similar to competitor programs, it allows business owners to track travel spending and earn rewards from their employees’ hotel stays and other travel bookings — and do it all in 1 place.

Now, Business Access is offering a promotion that allows members to reach elite status more quickly. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Earn Elite Status Faster Through Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy

Starting on May 11, 2026, you can register for a promotion through Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy that offers a shortcut to Marriott Bonvoy elite status.

Eligible members can register through September 13, 2026, and then have 90 days after registration to rack up 8 qualifying nights to earn Gold Elite status, which will be valid through December 31, 2027.

Gold Elite is a mid-tier status that confers benefits such as room upgrades when available, late checkout when available, a 25% points bonus on stays, a welcome gift in the form of Marriott Bonvoy points, and more.

Here are a few more things you should know about the promotion, but remember that registration does not open until May 11:

  • You must be a member of Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy to participate. You can apply here for free if you’re not already a member.
  • Members will receive a special URL via email to register for the promotion.
  • Qualifying nights must be booked through the dedicated Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy website.
Hot Tip:

Is It Worth It?

If you’re interested in acquiring Marriott Bonvoy elite status and have a few stays coming up, but don’t think you’ll stay enough to meet the 25-night threshold to earn Gold Elite status the regular way, this promotion is certainly worth a second look. The 8-night qualification threshold is significantly easier, and you’ll be able to hold onto that status through all of 2027, which gives you a long time to put Gold benefits to the test.

However, if you don’t stay with Marriott often and don’t think you could use the perks elite status provides, it’s not worth booking hotel nights you weren’t planning to book just to complete the terms of this promotion.

Final Thoughts

Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy is offering a promotion that provides a shortcut to Gold Elite status in the Marriott Bonvoy program. If you’re a program member and have some hotel stays coming up, this promotion is a no-brainer. The qualification threshold is significantly reduced, and you’ll be able to maintain that status through all of 2027.

Look out for an email with your registration link starting May 11, and remember to do so by September 13 to participate. Then, complete your stays within 90 days to earn your status.
